Was informed by my SA that Honda Malaysia cancelled a few car allocations to the dealers - City S, City E, City Hatchback E, City V, Civic V, Civic RS due to production adjustment. I’m guessing not enough parts to complete production due to chip shortage.

Hope those still waiting to stay strong.

No features dropped. Just canceled allocation, but will reallocate by end of next week. E.g original allocation 10. Cancelled current allocation, reallocate 5 by next week.

Hmmm - mine seems to be working with latest trip info updated for 17/5 (today). Didn't try other functions though.

are you using android or ios? Seems like last time, android had problems, and ios was fine - but a few days later both got problem

If your dealer has been allocated previously, but cancelled by Honda Malaysia last week, they should have the latest allocation numbers by now and can answer you when you will receive your car.

Actually this is correct. Need to have Loan LOU + pay deposit amount + insurance before they register the e-hakmilik to your name. But usually it would be when they have the car allocated to the dealer already. In my case it was around a week before I collected the car.

Agreement signed not yet in effect. Only in effect once loan disbursed - get the car, bank pay to dealer. Just tell loan officer/SA will do.

Example of “oil life healing”. My oil life went down around 400km between “actual mileage” and “oil life balance” during the puasa month & raya traffic jams around JB. Did a 400km road trip over the weekend and now the oil life is slowly healing back to almost 1:1 again.

Just sharing that the Ezy Touch Up paint for the latest Ignite Red (R575M) and Meteoroid Grey Metallic (NH904M) is now available - or at least it wasn’t 2 months ago.

I couldn’t vouch for Meteoroid Grey, but the Ignite Red is an exact match - I just used it to touch up a paint chip on my door edge and it’s now virtually indistinguishable.

Only V and RS can do thru the Honda Connect app. E, V and RS can do via physical car keyfob.

Lemme guess… E spec? If yes, totally not supported since lack of hardware support.

E dun have Honda Connect, so can’t remote start using app.

All spec can use the keyfob to remote start.

Not sure... When I did it I didn't turn on the engine though, just ACC mode + Parking Brake. Didn't try while engine running + parking brake disengaged.

Can take your VOC anytime actually. Bank normally have a form for you to fill up that you already taken the VOC when you collect it. The eBatal Hak Milik will be done by the bank once you have completed the final installment, no need to go jpj.

If it’s newly tinted, it’s normal. But if it’s been more than 2 weeks with hot sun, then it is not normal. If it’s a rainy season with little sun out, it can take as long as 1 month for it to properly cure.

If you booked E spec, should be quite fast, particularly if you’re not fussy about the colour of your car. V spec waiting time should not be too bad, roughly 2 months. RS… Really will test your patience. Heard some people booked since January, and just recently got their car. I heard Honda rushing production for those that booked before CNY.

Yes, need to pay SST. Doubt Honda / dealer will absorb the SST cost. Mazda and a select few other car manufacturers choose to absorb SST coz want (need?) customer

Normal error. It's been this way for 2 months already. Honda is aware and the fix should come this month
