It’s probably something in your diet. I too sometimes have partial nose block and I immediately know it has to be something I ate earlier in the day. By next morning, I feel okay again.

Nose gets blocked cos in the nasal cavity in the skull is filled with mucous. There is something that has made ur polyps inflamed and it’s secreting mucous and the nose closes so I don’t get the drips out of the nose.

Try using humidifier in your room, and try to sleep slightly upright a bit or sideways.

Suggest you dont wait longer and quickly visit an ENT specialist. They will be able to diagnose this quickly and provide solution immediately. I know of one case, it was tonsil issue, only happen at night due to sleeping position and gravity makes the tonsil sit in a position blocking the airway. But due to left too long unattended, it affected other organs due to shortness of oxygen to vital organs and insufficient sleep. Dont wait.

QUOTE(galkelly @ Sep 8 2021, 02:53 PM) 1. turn off air con when the air is cool enough for you to sleep.2. add humidifier because the dry air is the cause of this problem. 3. set a higher temperature for the aircon and test whether it works so that the air wont' be too dry and irritates your sinus. every individual is different. its quite a common problem. but only some people's condition will only get worse. I had an Endoscopic surgery due to this issue cuz it went from bad to worse but that's the last resort. |

QUOTE(galkelly @ Sep 8 2021, 03:34 PM) yeah, you can visit the ent and they will prescribe you antibiotics to reduce the swelling as well as nasal spray etc to clean your sinus and also will tell you the same thing to avoid it from recurring again.for me, i still sleep in air conditioned room, been in dusty environments which only aggravated my nose and after a few years, new problems appeared due to my sinus. and i decided to have it removed and never been happier. it was affecting my sleep so badly to a point i had to cut it off. |

QUOTE(galkelly @ Sep 9 2021, 01:11 AM) You are one of those with high mucus in respiratory tract. Not only nose felt block and lung not inhaling enough air/oxygenBody can produce excessive mucus because of virus, pollen or eve dust in the air. I bet you felt better in warm environment or even just when taking hot beverage. Perhaps just keep body warm. Increase air-cond temp. Buy air filter but the filtering material can be expensive to maintain, or maybe buy ionizer. Ionizer help settle dust to the floor instead of floating around in the air very long. |

My nose is forever blocked.
Try to use some breathe strips if really too uncomfortable. I use it occasionally. You can buy from Pharmacies. https://shop.esyms.com/products/5dc4f9e0eb4...x8aAt_oEALw_wcB |
