Want to know where to go for very good steamed prawns by the kilo?
Out of Klang valley but not too far?
Maybe some shack in a fishing town?
Just like Salud in KK?
Appreciate any ideas?

In Tualang can give Thong Lok a try. Prawns are fresh and delicious. Pricing is reasonable as well. Wont be disappointed with their steam prawns.

These were some of the photos during my last year visit around September 2020. I couldn’t recall what the shop name. The few rows of the shop were full of restaurant selling fresh water prawns. The only thing I could recall, the order taker will asked what size of the prawn we wanted to order & will give indication how many pieces of prawns you will get per kg according to the sizes.

I ordered steamed fresh water prawns ( 1kg around 6 pieces ), sambal paku-pakis, steam fresh water fish (bak suk kong @ baung), tofu.
