I don’t mean to brag, seriously

But I paid 6k a year for my whole family

When I decided to terminate just one subscription they just say “lol, send us an email and we will reply you within 5 working days.” And “You must come here despite the fucking killer flu is out there good luck faggot” (exaggeration but you got the point)

Wow, is making a simple termination form in their app or website is such a hard task?

Sunday morning feel like wanna whack people liao. Destroy mood.

Yes, proper SOP must be difficult to terminate. Need IC I think.

If not will have security issue if no proper procedure as today phone number is linked to plenty of critical stuff.

Never terminate before, usually just change telco MNP

But I agree. Its shit. I wanted to terminate 1 line which I use for work. They made it so diff. I need to go to sunway pyramid outlet regardless of covid or not, just to terminate...

1 month later auto terminate.

That's how i terminated my digi postpaid in 2018

last time I ported out Digi with -0.10 in account balance

Their credit department called me to threaten legal action and all and last last act like debt collector when their 'gentleman style' didn't work, coz I keep on repeat the same phrase "Can you check back?". In the end the idiot over the phone noticed the negative symbol behind then said sorry and hang up abruptly.

Not only Digi, all other major telcos are the same...happened to me with 2 others...it will it very hard for you that you have to completely not keeping your existing number if you change to other telco.

If you want it easy, just port to another telco prepaid, then don't top up. The number will be invalid after 1 months without top up.

alll the same.. celcom also.. last time try to port out celcom, 3 time try kenot, they said system error try again.. on fourth time i tried and talk shit, later on an engineer call me and say their mistake.. idiot celcom

Previously also terminate Digi line for my company. Terminate need to send hardcopy signed letter so specific branch. Then need to wait for 1 month to process it. And the 1 month to process still got charge to me.

All telcos try very hard to stop you when you want to terminate.

Port all the account prepaid then stop using it.

They will ask alot of question, just say tokong or your religion said number no good tukar.

Once ported then paid 1mth stop using it tada.

its good that such procedures are in place. prevent your sim card/phone number from kena hijack easily. blocks out some fraud using otp and unauthorised mnp

why not just port out that number, as long as you paid all the remaining current balance should be able to port out. port to some number that you can kill like prepaid lines. can do port out via internet i think

i did ported out from digi postpaid before

For verification purpose that you are really the person who request to cancel the line.
Nowadays phone numbers and banking are connected to TAC SMS. If scammer got hold of your info and cancel your line without verification they also got hold of the TAC SMS.

i have this unused digi number that im too lazy to visit their center to cancel the postpaid plan and that number has accumulated some debt like rm300
just want to confirm, i can port out to other telco as soon as i clear the debt? and that number will be a prepaid phone number without any more subscription?

thinking of asking the CS to help me cancel the postpaid plan otherwise i will port out to reduce the hassle
