An ancient Japanese legend is brought back to life in the form of monstrous creatures that attack modern-day Los Angeles and it's up to Jason Behr as an intrepid TV reporter to save the day.

Aiyaa. US always want to copy Japanese Kaijuu movies, but the japs can do better only using latex clothing and miniature buildings (case of fact, godzilla was crap). CGI != better movie. Sometimes good ol special effect and dude in monster suit is better. XD

ok... i just saw this movie.
the story is nothing to talk about. acting was also questionable. but the special effects was VERY imaginative, despite lots of noticeable flaws here and there. it's almost comparable to LOTR especially the large scale battles, but they really need to do better at camera matching and colour keying. some scenes just dont match up pretty well.
but then again, other than commendable special effects, there's literally nothing much else about this movie worth talking about. both the story AND the story telling are shit, it's not worth the time.
Watched a lil bit of it last night when was out mamak-ing. It had everything - serpents, orc-like creatures, fat dinosaurs with loaded rockets on their backs, flying pterodactyls (correct spelling?). Nothing more then a CGI-fest of mythical creatures, with ridiculous storytelling. I was shocked when I saw it on the screen and was like, "Anei, ini movie apa?"
