Hi everyone. May I know how much is Colonoscopy cost in Malaysia?

I noticed I have blood in my stool for the past 1 week. Takut cancer. So I eager to get scope to make sure.

Yes, it should be covered by insurance. I did colonscopy+endoscopy together 3 years ago..it cost like 4k which i claimed under insurance. U need to go hospital and get GL approved prior to your procedure. You dont need to get admitted and it can be done via day care.

About 6k in private hospital depending on your situation.

Can claim on insurance but you need to double check with your agent or insurance company.

The earlier you detect colon cancer the possibilities of fully cure is higher. Good luck

blood stool after passing hard stool? most probably is anal fissure.

I did colonoscopy several years ago at Columbia Hospital, roughly 5-6k.
My insurance can claim.

Doctor told me:
Fresh bright blood - Not serious, probably anal fissure like @ben3003 said.
Dark Red blood - Might be serious, bleeding from somewhere upper in the colon.

Did mine last year.

Claimed insurance.

Around 7k+ endoscopy + colonoscopy

Damn they get expensive by year

Hi, I just did mine at Columbia Asia Hospital.
It costs around 6k for both upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. It was covered by insurance, they will check
with your insurance provider whether the procedures are covered before they schedule you for it.
They will remove polyps if found any during the colonoscopy and generally from what I read, its a good
preventative procedure.
