[/COLOR][/B][COLOR=blue]Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) or Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad had launched a Global new Equity fund.

So far ASNB didn't say it's a fixed price or variable price fund,
But i guess likely an variable fund as the previously launch ASN Imbang Global (Global Balance Fund)

By Just RM 10, you can start to invest.
the entry barrier is lowest for ANSB, as other fund minimum 500 or 1000.

Pls survey before invest.

Personally, i still prefer those fixed price fund (ASM 2 and ASM 3) which was capital guarantee.

I agree with you, ASM 1, 2 & 3 are still the preferable choice since they don't incure any additional charges.

Depend what stock you all in in bursa...
Some stock even higher return, but also can fall deeper than your expectation...

for mutual fund there are some "Professional" monitor/manage for you.
This is good for those no time to monitor the market.
But i agree with you, if you hv time and know which stock hv good fundamental, then just invest by yourself....

Anyway, the mentioned fund for ASN is for Global... i think you can't compare with bursa which only domestic market,

I wonder these 2 ASNB "Global" Funds, how Global really it is?

Variable price fund better don't waste time.

Never buy fund without more than 5 years of track back history.
90% of all mutual fund fail to beat the market.
Why people keep buy Kenanga or Affin Hwang if you study.

You can check the prospectual of these two fund online.
For Global Equity, i roughly read one of the invested segment is Semiconductor in Taiwan ect.

The issue is, those fixed price fund like ASM1, 2,3 very hard to buy, especially for non-bumi.

So only have limited choice to check those variable fund.
Take note that invest in mutual fund need to wait 3-5 years to see the return.
Pls choose those funds would have yearly distribution of dividen to safeguard the investment.

Anyway, i noted some unethical agent keep blowing their fund can earn 20-30 % return.
they keep compare the "correct" entry point
such as invested in Mar 2020 (When Global Pandemic and suddenly Govn applied MCO1), that time almost all shares and mutual fund dropped like hell.
So this should not be a good and justified guidelines.

Frankly speaking, if you invested mutual fund before pandemic, this is lucky that if your fund is breakeven now.
Most of it still in recovery... This impacted by unstable political situation in Malaysia and global supply chain still not recovered as Malaysia is a export orientated country.

Ummm. i worry i can't get your question. May be i explain below:

A) Global or Local mean the investment profolio location or we mean the horizon/other countries.
Like ASM 1,2,3 they mainly invested in local share (Equity) market.
The Global Equity mean they invested outside of Malaysia

B) Bumi mean certain ethics can buy certain fund, Like ASB
But this Global equity is open to ALL.

Ummm are you the agent for Kenanga or Affin?
I am not the agent for all fund house. Just to share my experiance.

There are some variable price fund is rare and performing.
Like i bought the PIOF - Public Islamic Opportunity Fund,
Since invested, it shown 400 % growth (before pandemic), but other than this PIOF.
But i have to be frank and agreed with you, other PM fund other than PIOF didn't perform....
You see the share market then you know... mutual funds (specially those invested locally) are link to it.

You just open fundsupermart and look which one is performing, always the few like Hwang and Kenanga, I am not in the business of promoting though.
If you look over 10-15 years timeline, not many have beaten kenanga growth fund.

Cannot find anything about invested segment.

Brought last week..now drop 0.04 cents. Lost rm500

Frankly speaking, now is the bad time.
Since UT link to the share market, now almost all regional markets (Taiwan, Malaysia, China...) dropped like hell.

And recently BNM just annouched the OPR rate changed from 1.75 % to 2%.
I heard another raise soon depend on US, so some money will be withdrew from share market to F.D or money market as they generate fixed income and lesser risk.

i just wonder where are those UT agent blew they can generate 20 % profit within a year?
They are compared it Mar 20 to Mar 21, most of the UT grew very good.
Timing is importance....

No choice, just put there for some period.
