Professionals have different opinions to treat soil stability.

PU injection is basically to fill the gaps and or lift the flooring but whether it can prevent further soil settlements is not known.

I did pu injection for a wall leak from a neighbour unit.

Is your house 'sinking' ?

How serious is your unit ? Any photos to share ?

I also face the same issue around the ground floor bathroom area. Did some underground column stabilising and the cracks still reappeared.

Did few times diy wall crack replastering to check on any further settlement .... finally, it stopped since early this year and hope it remains that way.

Upon suggestion by the contractor, I did the bathroom and also the closest areas ....kitchen and laundry.

It was 5 years ago and around 15k including retiling the entire bathroom wall and flooring.

Some other areas with minor cracks stopped after the work except for the bathroom which is more serious ..... a 2 to 3mm width.

If I was more knowledgeable during the initial reno, I would have done pilling for the 1 storey extended area.

Infact I also enquired on another method of additional pilling but is very costly ....about 70k and messy work where they need to bring in the boring machine. My other concern is the underground water and sewage piping.

that cost a lot. in your opinion is it worth to spend that much? or is it better to redo everything?

If between boring and demolish, I will choose the latter since is only 1 storey.
