There isn’t an issue if u sell the phone. But the moment u cancel ur line the person who bought ur phone won’t be able to connect to his respective mobile phone provider

The phone is considred sewa beli. Owned by telco until you fulfil contract obligations, which is usually be a good paymaster and settle you dues throughout attached contract period.
You can sell off if the phone is not locked to the specific SIM you use, but be honest to the buyer about the phone, and don't disrupt your contracted line while within contract period by terminating or causing it to be barred. So far, I have not experienced Celcom, Maxis, Digi locking their contracted device to only use their network. I am free to switch SIM to another telco using same device. HTC, Huawei, Huawei, Samsung, Samsung, ZTE, MiFi, iPad mini, never locked. Though, for the iPad mini i contracted with Maxis, the iPad itself is not locked to Maxis or specific SIM, but, the SIM that came with the contract pulak that is locked to be used only with this iPad. Hi, first time buying a phone DIGI freedom plan 365 with my existing postpaid 120 and just signed a contract for 24 months. A plan of postpaid 120 + Samsung Galaxy Z flip 3...my question is ..
a. Can this phone be use in all SIM card and operators? b. Can I sell the phone? But definitely i will be paying till 24 months as I m a established businessman and i do not want my reputation at stake either. I just wanted to continue my data usage only. c. Should i register my phone myself at Samsung Online site or can i delay my registration to extend a little bit of warranty? Thank u all sifu2 answering my question, have a great day.. |
