I think ergo chair will give better airflow? Especially those with mesh design as compared to those gaming.

I dont have any of those in your list. Im just using IKEA Markus.

If you are working from home, go for ergonomic chair. Gaming chairs are only good for posing. They have padding in the wrong places and no proper lumbar support and are uncomfortable to sit for long.

Alterseat / Merryfair is okay

But not for gaming chair type of design, this will get hot easily due to the material used

Anyhow, make sure to give it a test before purchasing, it will be very useful in making the decision

any gaming chair with no ergonomic feature is bad overpriced chair.

For long sitting session, it is highly recommended to get a mesh ergonomic chair.
make sure you test 1st before purchase.

take this from someone that use to purchase a screatlab chair, totally garbage chair.

all the cushion might make you feel comfortable at the beginning,
but after some time you will notice its super hot to sit on it, especially your butt part.

And those pillow type lumber and head support is GARBAGE as well,
these pillow cant even stay at one position that i want,
so no way these can provide proper ergonomic support.

Gaming chairs aren't made for ergonomy. They are made to impress visually and can be uncomfortable to sit on for long.

Was planning to buy secret lab but decided to cancel after multiple review. What are your recommendations for mesh office chair?

If want to sleep on the chair, then need gaming chair as most can recline

Also, your choice of chair will depend a lot on your weight, if you are fat, then need RM1000+ chair.

If you choose fabric, then need to be in aircon room as when you sweat, the fabric will absorb it and stain. Better buy leather and put big towel over it.

i no consider office chair cuz i know that's not what i want, so i cannot recommend you anything on office chair.
but i can tell you something about ergonomic chair.

if you spend most of your time sitting in front of pc,
like , per day more than 10 hours like me.
please consider getting an ergonomic chair.
your body, especially your back, will thank you.

i personally using Pofit ergo chair from AM office,
this is full mesh chair, and i've been using it for almost a year.
another mesh chair i use to consider is Ergohuman
later when i check forum , then only realize actually there is many other brand of ergo chair, but some of them is out of my budget.

and do not get fool by gaming chair that claim it self as ergonomic chair.
some seller actually shamelessly call their gaming chair "ergonomic chair" in their ads.
This is a huge mislead since when detail on these so called "ergonomic chair", it do no even have basic feature to be qualify as ergonomic chair.
to know these, you can google up "must have feature for ergonomic chair", and understand what are the feature that will help you sit properly at correct posture.
once you understand this, you will know why most of the gaming chair in market is rubbish overpriced chair, and why many call gaming chair main feature is just for look good.

Remember the chair that suits me do not mean it will suit you as well.
no person is alike hence the difficulties to recommend a chair base on personal experience.
so regardless of office or ergonomic chair, it is highly recommend you 1st understand why you need that chair, go to showroom and test sit on that chair , then only decide.

there's an on going discussion topic dedicated to chair only, you can refer here:

If anyone is interested in an ergonomic chair community spanning Malaysia and Singapore, please consider joining the group listed in my signature - we are currently about 80+ strong and going towards a hundred people; presently, we are coordinating group buys for Steelcase Leap and other Steelcase chairs with ELY at a lowered group rate and at a special price, and if there is interest, the same can be coordinated for chair purchases from other companies as well smile.gif

On my YouTube channel, I recently sent a Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 to Dr Stuart McGill in Canada (world’s greatest back pain expert) and we will be speaking about the ergonomics of gaming chairs and exploring how we can work together to improve the ergonomics of these chairs and perhaps democratize these for the upcoming generation - if you are interested to provide input on how these gaming chairs can straddle the boundary between looking good and serving the needs of ergonomics, please feel welcome to follow the channel, which does have the aim of democratizing comfort for WFH to a larger audience ^^
