haha u got it exactly... raiding skills ARE relational to spelling skills somehow. how is it related? i have no clue, i bet it takes a genius to figure that out.

i don't mind though who brought this guy here, i actually kinda love the fact i have something to do while waiting to troubleshoot this rubbish of an application in hand.

QUOTE(sets84 @ Sep 13 2007, 05:05 PM)
the flame isn't a true false statement, it's your manner of telling some1 else they had a spelling mistake in a very offensive and sarcastic manner...

let me take some time to process this, first you said i have a comprehension level of a 5 y/o... which is of course a baseless insult and when i pointed out its illogical, you admittedly pwned urself by stating that you're over exagerating. do you actually see what you're doing here? please do continue, i find your stupidity ammusing... and yes this isn't an insult anymore, it's a fact about the level of your intelligence.

i've been in the head hunting biz before, the achievements of the ppl head hunted are clearly visible that resumes are more often than not omitted. we the head hunters ARE the one providing the resumes for the prospect... is it so hard to see that now? why nit pick on my job? you working in aussie meaning ur better? wow congrats!!! so when's teh celebration party now?

i find it really surprising that you could say that my level of comprehension is that of a 5 y/o when you obviously have no clue of what i have mentioned. I said that resumes are not needed for successful people (though a more relevant point would be that it's not often necessary), and you said i wait for jobs bcos i dont use a resume and that i think im successful. please please... its even hard to beleive that you work in aussie, unless of course ur one of those waiters working in an aussie owned chinese restaurant

OH WOW UR IN BT!!! GOOD GOSH!!! OMIGAWD!!! keep telling yourself that alright, i'm sure it puts you to sleep every night.

and oh nopes, i don't even have the attunement for MH done yet, go figure ^^
*
of coz its a baseless n exaggeration, how would i know whats the reading comprehension of a 5 y/o or 6 or 7 for that matter. The point of my flame was to state that someone younger (5-8 y/o) has better comprehension that you, assuming your 23 y/o. Does it really make a difference, whether i say

Dont post if you have the comprehension of a 5 year old
Dont post if you have the comprehension of a 6 year old
Dont post if you have the comprehension of a 7 year old

as long as the mentality (of the age mentioned) is lower than you

Unless you count on being headhunted EVERY SINGLE TIME, its only normal you have a job resume by your side even if you are successful.

im not suprised. having fun wiping in SSC/TK?

bolded for attention, need i say more?

and yes i corrected myself that it's not a big necessity, i may have thrown it away for all i care. and given everything happens in the events of your preference, ie a successful lawyer who has won 40+ big game cases, never lost a single one going to approach a job for a small time company with a job resume which has like say 10 spelling mistakes. do u think the interviewee would fail the interview due to the spelling errors? 10 spelling errors is pretty major to say the least...

and yes bring in my old guild progression considering htat you have faced a brick wall in the arguement. i left raiding a long time ago, came back raided for 2 weeks, didn't like the way things are + drama, left again... i was asked back for that matter

Not everyone is in your 'lawyer' position. Be realistic and tell me how many ppl can approach a job/interview and be pretty sure its in the bag.

how is it karma? when i myself am pointing out a simple mistake i have made? ppl call it sportsmanship, others call it self improvement... you my sir are oblivious to your stupidity.

so ? my point is on the issue of successful people. i know not everyone has such an opportunity. but the reason of the arguement here is a simple spelling mistake wouldn't mean you fail in life. you're definately losing grip of this arguement and your continuous efforts to stir this whole arguement in a different direction shows how much is left of your pathetically bruised ego.

as i mentioned earlier the drama is on your ignorance. but its okay if you want to bring in guild progression again, as we all know that guild progression is linearly proportional to the magnitude of your relevance in an arguement... amirite?

....
i meant karma on myself, i made a typo which has been the main point of our argument hence i rest my case, you win?

all i said was, "if you cant spell your own server name, you fail" - how does it imply that spelling mistake would make you fail in life?

i meant a spelling mistake on your resume will hurt your chances of getting the job, if you couldnt grasp that, too bad
i have seen ppl's application fail because of a typo

...
i meant it sucks to be called back to help then forced to leave again rofl
theres basically nothing to add to the progression drama anymore, since apparently you dont have any to compare to anyway

yes and by the mention of fail would easily mean he is a failure who has failed. at a mention of fail in general would mean fail in life no?

yes im sure a spelling mistake on your school's name, or your mom's name would ensure you definately fail your application... get a hold on yourself mr.ImTooPerfect for the world, even you make mistakes... even the employers make mistakes, do you think a simple typo on your resume cos you probably flinched your finger somewhere and mislook it while rereading it is gonna cost you an application? maybe in your world, so go ahead and isolate yourself...

if typos were such a serious issue, i can assure you more than 50% of the applicants in malaysia with a lower english education level would be spending the rest of their lives searching for jobs...

yes yes go ahead nit pick on the guild, im sure it makes u feel better. cos that's the only thing you have goin for you... oh yeah I left the guild myself, they called me back in but i didn't want to raid. But as always you can assume i was "FORCED" to leave the guild or I was kicked out of the guild, whatever floats your boat.

notice here that I'm not the one bringing outside issues into this arguement, had i brought up issues I'd probably be saying the status of my social life this weekend, or the luxury of a meal with a beatiful friend the past week... cos i obviously don't need such comparison to make me feel better.

so yeah, go ahead and measure your credibility with your guild progression cos you obviously have no credibility in in this arguement anymore. but don't stop posting though, i'd get bored sad.gif

if you have 2 applications equal in qualifications, one with error, the other without, which one would you take?

why are you explaining to me whether you were kicked or not? i stopped mentioning MY guild progression already and in my earlier post, i already said to stop about this progression topic, you sir are the one that is bringing it up again and again

i would take the one with a better presentation and more outspoken... isn't that what interviews are all about? and if you come up with the fact that both are perfectly equal in presentation and outspokenness, take a butter knife and attempt to cut yourself alright...

ohhh because u cared? or i thought you cared cos you seem to know so much about my guild and come up with assumptions of my guild life so as to prove that you have at least credibility in these forums? i was giving you a chance... you brought it up once, hence i would like to help you bring it up again cos it seems that's the only thing in here you can actually have the upper hand against me

there is a screening process upon submission of resume before you even get to the interview stage.
applying for a attrative job where they are dozens of other applicants, a typo means that you will be weeded out in this process (unless exceptional application i guess).

actually if u go back, i edited my post yesterday to NOT bring your guild into this already, but you didnt read that did you

if i said i dont have anything to add, wouldnt that mean i stopped caring? idiot

yes and im sure just bcos of 1 simple typo the examiners would straight away tear off the resume amirite? a screening is usually to check and see if the person is suitable for the position from aspects of grades, qualifications, institute of studies etc... not to look for a damn typo error in 1-3 pages worth of information

so the point here is that because your guild has better progression than my former guild, you shoot the guild up and proclaim you have much mroe credibility over me in that manner, then decide to close the subject because you proclaim that you have won? goodness gracious... NEWSFLASH, the world doesn't revolve around you

and i mentioned as well, im bringing it up because im helping you gain a lil ground on this arguement cos you seem like you're gona tumble down a steep hill... am i not a nice person?

sigh theres no end to this argument. i have met ppl and have been told that such cases have happened before hence i stand by my point.

if the world doesnt revolve around me, then stop hugging my balls LOL

summary
- i shouldnt flame a person for a typo - you win, ill be nicer lol
- will a typo screw your job application - based on our different experiences, no point arguing

your not a nice person just very bored apparently
