I have joint loan with my bf in one Rumawip property, but ownership is under him because Rumawip only allowed for one owner, can I still buy another Rumawip which is under my name?

For my understanding, it should be allowed me to buy but I dont know who can i ask now. I have tried all the banks but only Public Bank approved us.

Pbb oredi approved, so I dont see any more issue. You cant expect all banks have similar policy.

Hmm but my question is do I still eligible to buy Rumawip in the future as my name is not in SPA now? 🤔

The SnP is the determining document. But your eligibilty for loan is reduced accordingly.

I dont see any problem now unless the govt change the policy. But if of both you married later, then there might be any issue if you intend to purchase then.

Yes, eligible as long as the property is not registered for ownership under your name.

RumaWIP and other similar affordable home schemes is for people who are "first time home owners", bank loan is separate situation and won't affect your eligibility.

For current regulations marriage won't affect if you apply as individual applicant, even if you're married to someone who already have RumaWIP they'll assess based on your circumstances only, not your spouse (if you apply as joint applicant then will reject because your BF already had RumaWIP)

The main problem that might potentially happen is you might not be able to get 90% loan for future RumaWIP application, since you have an existing joint home loan, which will affect bank's assessment of your credit health.
