i have an old macbook air, which can only support sata (no nvme) and the ssd is dead after 9 years of usage. so i bought teamgroup ms30 ssd and installed it on the laptop. at first it was fast and running smoothly, but after like a week, it became slow and sluggish, even with sudo trim enable so i bought another ssd, samsung evo 860, and replaced the teamgroup ms30 and after a month, it still runs smoothly. perhaps this ms30 is not suitable if you make it as a boot drive, or maybe it's not compatible with macos. anyone else have experience with this teamgroup brand?

Even if you bought the ssd, you probably still need an adapter for it as Apple being Apple uses proprietary connectors

Didn't see that. Had issues with SSDs for Macs before so I only boughted OWC for Apple ones after that. But for TS, used TeamGroup SSDs before and had no issues with it This post has been edited by rtk74: Aug 20 2021, 11:55 AM
