QUOTE(crazymouse_yyh @ Jan 2 2008, 01:08 AM) Check with your rules and regulations..... my college has one.... it doesn't say no pets allowed coz we sometimes need to bring animals for our projects (design students). i tink my college dun hav d rules n regulations book lo... TARC and UTAR do not allow, they got a rule book. cz my college is really small compared to tarc or utar... and mostly wat v cant do is pasted all over dy...n there is no 'no pets allowed' sign.. if there is a rules n regulation book,i should hav got it when i 1st enrolled pah... QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ Jan 2 2008, 10:50 AM) Yes, she is still young and has not learn how to control or poo and pee properly. Suggies sleep most of the time during the day unless you wake them up. During sleeping they don't normally poo or pee. I bring mine out whole day too and never had any problem. Yes, they will poo and pee wherever they like including on you. You cannot control this. I bring mine to work on alternate days. They never disturb me or make any noise, I am the one always disturbing them... A well bonded and tamed suggie will not cause you any trouble if you bring them out in the pouch even for a whole day. KP i would really like to bring my dydy to class cz thn i got more time v her so if i leave her at home i would only be able to play v her during d evening n nite.. wat does snuggies do during d nite when v sleep ar?? if need, can i know where to get them?? |

QUOTE(ayiesz @ Jan 2 2008, 05:32 PM) SG loves wheel so much is tat a wodent wheel??wodent wheel is the safest for them. but a bit expensive. u can order from KP. i think normal wheel also can use, but the placing is important. need to make sure they didnt get thrown out from the wheel accidentally. ![]() here's how i place mine. notice at the back of the wheel he got some place to cling when the wheel is spinning too fast (not sure if they purposely do that). need to get another one, they sometimes berebut to play nw should i get a wodent wheel or a chinchilla wheel?? hw much is it roughly?? QUOTE(silverwineus @ Jan 2 2008, 06:01 PM) My suggies will defecate right after or during their meal time only. I will only let them out for exploration after their meal and their business. At other time, they seldom poo. It has been their habit since. Thus, her pouches are not often soiled and rarely need washing. Btw, you mentioned proviousy about your suggies' exploration? where do you let your suggies explore, which compound in the house? For me, i'm not so adventurous and daring to let them venture further from me. Anyway, most of the time they are quite attached and don't wander far. About suggies making noise in the class. For me, in the beginning there has been an incident where my male suggie really misbehaved and was squeling non-stop in the office and i got some remarks from colleagues. At first i put the blame on his mischief. But later on i realised that yet i was there embarrased by my colleagues complaints and didn't know that my poor suggie complained even more about his umcomfortable environment. Later on i changed his cage environment and they never crab anymore and sleep soundly. If the suggie is making noise, it could mean they are uncomfortable or feel insecure. woww oh..most of d time she stays on me..thn if im at my table studying, she go on d table n sniff sniff here n there.. up till nw,she has only been in my room... oh..wat is finger wrestling?? my dydy very shy 1 wor.. |

QUOTE(silverwineus @ Jan 3 2008, 11:11 PM) I didn't purposely train them as you know, the chance of success in training a suggie is in close poximity to 0%, don't you agree? haha.. yalor...they cant be train.. But i observe that for mine they empty their bowels in the container almost at the instant and after they finish their meal. Then they will not likely to poo so much later on and esp. on you. You wear a jersey, then at the junction between your arms and shoulder, strap rubber band, so that they won't be abe to enter inside your sleeves and claw your arms. Then put a towel on your lap so they can't claw your thighs. Naturally, your SG will play hide and seek in your jersey. But take great care not to accidentally squash or lean or sit on them or you will be very sorry. This is one way to bond with them and let them be acquainted with your scent. Ok, got to go for zzz...now, seeya spinel_son. Sweet dreams. are u raring 1 snuggie or a pair?? it's spinel-sUn...it's d name of a anime character in cardcaptor sakura... gd nite silverwineus...see yar~ |

QUOTE(alexchin @ Jan 12 2008, 11:56 AM) i suck at DIY...nv cud finish anything..haiz~ QUOTE(silverwineus @ Jan 12 2008, 12:56 PM) One of the interesting fact about sugar glider is that it can take flight up to more than 50 metres.. which is about the lenth of 4 badminton courts or slightly less than 3/4 of the football field. wow...mayb i cud teach dydy to glide... Amazing.. It uses its powerful hindlegs to thrust from the tree trunk, and when about 3 metres from the tree, it brings its hindlegs close up the body and swoops upward, steering effectively by curving one patagium or the other. That's amazing.. So.. to wrap up is, never underestimate a glider.. haha |

Crying sounds like a short and frequent high pitched sneeze. Is that the sound you hear? You can refer to this site for suggie sound reference to identify the sound - :: Suggie SOUNDS :: Yup, suggies can cry too but ofcourse without tears, it's just a method of calling for younger joeys ----- For all newbies, you can refer to here - :: Suggie SOUNDS :: to learn about the sounds that sugar gliders can make *I'm being kind today, or else I could've asked you all to Google for it!* KP then hw ar?? anyone??HELP!!
