well , in my opinion ... in order to make a DIY stuff, u need to actually like doing diy stuff. it will become easier because u are actually enjoying doing it. even i make a cage slowly, its ok .. DIY stuff cant be rush. and dont expect it to be super beautiful . my style is i dont care how it look as long it function well and do the job . that cage in the picture is my 3RD time !

easy .. made a small frame for the door from PVC pipe, make a bigger frame around the small frame (must hv abit clearance between the big and small frame), make permanent holder to the big frame.. use door hinges to make it easy to open and close . then use kunci pintu as the lock lor .. then cover the whole thing with netting . FINISHED !
