I think if you choose to DIY, in the end you may find that it won't save you a lot, as you expect.

But it's just more for leisure pursuit and interest.

well . if budget limited, go for DIY . i make mine around rm180 for a 3ft x 3ft x 6ft cage. i make it inside my room then after finished, i just remembered that i cant bring it out tru the door.. doh.gif  doh.gif  doh.gif

Yeah, can't agree with you more. Just as one day i was examining my aquarium lamps inside out, bottom to top, side to side why was it not functioning, changed tubes, called up everywhere to enquire for new ones, traveled here and there.
After all that, finally found out that actually one of the switches was not on doh.gif

im still figuring on how to actually make doors at d DIY cage..

takut tak jadi oni...btw...which shop in petaling street sells cages ?

i mean really big ones....i saw in OU...35.5 x 35.5 x 60.5 = rm 700++

hahahah
*
Yeah, for such size with floor space 3 x 3 ft and height 5.5 ft, kurang-kurang pun touching 700.

Just passed by PJ NN petshouse and saw such cage today, but it's white colour. I prefer bronze or black, looks more elegant, hehe.

That's the right spirit and attitude we should have!!
In anything that we do, we must try our best to strive for excellence, otherwise might as well not to start it at all..
This is a valuable lesson that i can learn..

alexchin,

Kindda first time see blue colour pipes. Usually it's either PVC Sch 80, Sch 40 or local pipes or clear pipes.
Such blue fittings may be local fittings but the colour is unique..
Have thought of using such plastic netting, but kindda worried and apprehensive about it's safety as they might bite it..

One of the interesting fact about sugar glider is that it can take flight up to more than 50 metres.. which is about the lenth of 4 badminton courts or slightly less than 3/4 of the football field.
Amazing..
It uses its powerful hindlegs to thrust from the tree trunk, and when about 3 metres from the tree, it brings its hindlegs close up the body and swoops upward, steering effectively by curving one patagium or the other.
That's amazing..

So.. to wrap up is, never underestimate a glider.. haha

Tried already, the page didn't open at all.

Now 2nd try, it's uploading (so it says) for almost half an hour already.

I save the file to the smallest size, only 68kb... But the process damn long, dunno why...

I don't know why it takes so long, because i have successfully uploaded many pdf, more than 100kb, and in few seconds only it's done. if it takes longer than few minutes to do that, then you know that sth is wrong.
Don't waste time on that..

Really feel sorry for your hustle bustle and the headache caused..

4. hiss -snake
5. chatter- squirrel (clicking)
6. chirp-bird

8.singing - glider mommy

i am going to the vet again in a short while.
he is crabbing whole night hardly had any sleep sweat.gif

will update his condition again.
thanks again smile.gif

Hi, empathize with your suggie's condition.
I do understand the perturbing heartache when our loved pet is sick. This makes me recall back the times when i walked into vets frantically.

Good to bring them see doctor in the early stage, before getting more serious.
Try to find out the root cause from the vet, whether it's bacterial infection and what kind of remedy to counter that, what are the drops that you give etc..

When this happen in future, you will know what medicine/antibiotic to administer.

Hope your suggie to Get Well Soon..

I never really count the mealworms..
I give 1 or 2 teaspoon of mealworms to each..
i can't count them cuz i'm counting on my time..hoping there's additional time to 24 hrs.

thanks, i would like to know the root cause also
but the vet said very hard to tell why it happen.

today we try to push back his p*nis in but he make a big struggle and was screaming like mad during the process
in the end, the vet say nvm and juz let it be, as long as he is pee-ing and gave me some medi to apply on the wound this time.

i havent apply the medi yet cause he dint crab for quite long adi, i think he must be asleep so dont wana wake him up.
he had been crabbing the whole night yesterday.

will do it when he wake up later, juz scare he might lick up all the medi, coz its poisonous,
i ask the vet, adi he say alittle bit nvm. hopefully he will be alright soon.
i cant be taking leave long  sweat.gif

anyway the girl ask me wan any Mc or not?
i was quite surprise, lolz pets also got Mc?
anyway doubt my work place would accept such mc  laugh.gif
*
Since the vet don't know what it's due to, neither do i know then.. haha
What kind of infirmity is this? seems like very common..I would really like to find out this inflammation infection.
Did he receive any injection from the vet? What medi is he taking now btw?
Do watch and check if the daily diet is correct. Did you give food that's too watery like papaya or the melons?

Below is a link that provide instruction on how to make an E-collar for your glider..

http://www.suzsugargliders.com/ecollar.htm

I hope that sth can be done to stop the wound from festering..
If you have the time, do show us some pix.

broken_string, hope your pet gets well soon.

^^" You should never put your finger or hand in front of any animal while it's eating right? Kinda like asking to get bitten.

Btw, I'm curious to ask where do u guys work that can bring sugar gliders?
*
It's ok to put your hand in front of the sugar glider during meal time, if it's alligator, then i would say," Don't put your hand" la...
But sometimes when i hand feed them mealworm, they will nibble my finger as they think it as mealworm probably, it feels like a pinch..

You know where you can bring gliders to work...? ... WORK IN YOUR DAD'S COMPANY..
