No, they don't poo or pee like cats/dogs, they basically do it wherever or whenever they want and that includes on you.

No, they cannot be chained or harness or tie anything what so ever onto them. Free movements are important to them. However if you have a well bonded/trained suggie, they will be able to return to you when you call or when they are done playing/exploring.

Cage, bottle and such varies on where you get them and such. But bear in mind they cannot be kept in small hamster cages, their cages need to be big and tall with a minimum of 3 feet (H) x 2 feet (W) x 2 feet (D), bigger is always better.

Food is the most important and crucial part as their diet needs extra care in detail. Freshly prepared foods are a must everyday. So you need to be prepared to dedicate your time in preparing their meal at least twice a day according to their feeding time.

For more regarding their diet, please refer to the diet section in the 1st page of this thread, I have compiled everything as detailed as possibly can.

Where did you bring them?

Gliders really need lots of research. Petshops would say:

"Easy only lah, feed apple and catfood can aledi. Then live in hamster cage or bird cage with coconut enough wan."

No... thats not the right way. Diet, sugar gliders got special needs, a diet high in calcium and low in phosphorus, fruits should be their main diet, along with crickets and mealworms plus a supplement mix for health. Cannot just give apples only, it is too high in Vit A and Vit C but low in calcium... can get Vit A intoxication.... which is bad for health even in humans.

Rm300 is nothing, they are of course worth every penny of RM300 because you won't be able to find a pet as unique or as long live in such a small size with an active personality.

If you can take time to read through all 20 pages and do all your research by Googling or from the 1st page, then it shows that you may be a dedicated glider owner....

Yeah, a lot of breeders/sellers with commercial mind will always give wrong info and tell every potential buyer that keeping gliders is easy cuz all they care is for the gliders to get sold off quickly.

That's why I say, never trust a breeder/seller that says keeping gliders are easy. It merely shows that they do not know a thing about gliders.

kp. how do u define a super stink suggies ? dont know because i am already used to smell unneutered ferret so .. even my suggies make a huge mess with the mix or fruit or their poo .. it just smell normal to me .. hahaha

Correction, a BIG cage and sticks or vines, not big sticks only. Although they will do their antics in the cage, it is also better to let them out once in a while

All my baju pun basah Summore at work, lucky got extra jacket.

Now Iggy in my shirt and Luna in the pouch.

But it doesn't work much lah cuz all the while cleaning, Luna was poo-ing everywhere And I don't have the puppy powder...

I think with the puppy powder it work quite well after cleaning them last time

Go buy the puppy powder lah heheheheh..... only Rm19 for it.

Anyway, all my gliders now stink a little.... Firstly, I dunno what Jarrah does to his sleeping pouch, from the milk turquoise green, now it is a dirty brown green... yucks. I just washed it anyway, looks better but still got 2 large brown patches at the bottom.... his smell is still bearable lah.

Kiah and Kapi, both of them smell the same coz they have been sleeping and eating together... smells like food and a bit of pee but ok. I hate the poop smell after they ate papaya.... so stinky! But it is their favourite fruits.... they hate red dragon fruit.... but love pear, papaya, sun melon, plum, honey dew and jambu air madu. They don't like the normal jambu air, not sweet enough hahahah. I haven't tried other fruits yet, maybe next i'll give them buah delima and water chestnuts... I'm waiting for the wild rambutans trees to bear fruit so no need to buy hahahaha.

Yeah, will get the puppy powder soon, for now tak sempat lah, going back kampung in 2 days...

I think will probably wipe them again with some PureAyre lah, still stinking a bit

I think the brown stains is most probably the musking lor, Iggy's pouch also have it. I wash and change their pouch every week, but today gotta change again lah cuz of what Luna has done...

Oh... maybe musking lah.... but his head not really botak, just a small bald patch.... very small like 5mm or less like that.

i brought them to Afamosa Resort >=)
when enter the place, there's a big sign, no pets allow...... hahahaaa

i put them in the bonding pouch(KP), but when they made some noise during in the lobby while waiting check in, i just cough cough*** ;p

yea i jus let them go play around the room, i jus close the balcony then , they're free le.... they very very happy =)

Hehe i like Ah pit makig sound like "kekekekke" or "pipippipi " when she stay on my arm or somewhere on my body, just like talking to me. But i don't understand what she say lol.
From the website which is krynzpeaches give, about the CHATTERING sound, i thought that is making the eating sound like nyam nyam like that... I just heard 3~4 time from Ah Pit for the chattering sound.
