QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ Feb 6 2008, 10:37 AM) I know... yes i understand.. its very very hard nowadays to find people who care lots for animals in Malaysia like you. But sometimes, we just cant do much i.e: we dont know the person. But I feel that it could have been prevented if the owner wanted it to... I can't even imagine myself in that guys shoe... I would break my heart even to see the slightest sadness in my suggies! *sighhh* I'm gonna go busy myself with something else for a while... It's depressing for me... KP okay okay.. go do something that eases ur emotions/releases stress =) have a nice day! |

QUOTE(spel'it @ Feb 6 2008, 11:33 AM) Hmm...this had been tugging n bothering me for quite sumtimes now. Cheekoo, he had been with me for more than 1 month. I ask KP n Reanne b4, n u guys guess that they are only 1 month OOP. That was 2-3 weeks ago. i think it should be doing okay if your diet is correct. normally, sugar gliders lack fur or go bald when they do not really have proper nutrition. So now, where Koochee is getting bigger n fluffier with her furs, Cheekoo sumwut lag in the fur matter. He has very thin fur n at sum places bare. How can i help him to be fur'rier'? Do you guys think he's lacking of sumthing? or issit normal for joey his age? Last time i heard that someone had gliders that looked totally like rats. the tail had no fur etc. etc. but they had proper food. after a year, they looked good and nice like other gliders. I notice sum changes since the 1st time we bought him. like his tail, is much fluffed up. but the fur on this body is very thin. sure he will. how old is he OOP?Well, I do hope he's ok n will grow up to be a handsome suggie... |

QUOTE(emino @ Feb 7 2008, 09:55 AM) My suggie eating a carrot at workplace from inside his pouch. Hehe~ waaah.. soo cute.. its good that your glider like to eat carrot. i cannot even get my gliders to take a single bite. =(The red light you see is a focus cam red light, its not to strong and its not a flash, so dont jumps on me for that! |

QUOTE(emino @ Feb 7 2008, 11:21 AM) hehe... KP's pouch mah! of course la nice! my gliders are so-so only with mango but they totally totally hate carrot. jambu air occasionally only will take. what drives me up the wall is that if tonight i fed my gliders guava, apple, and pear, 2moro i gotta give them completely different fruits if not they wont eat. Sometimes, i gotta coat em with yoghurt to actually get them eating the fruit.(KP! I've made free ads for you! Treat me some free pouches lol!) Yeah, Teddy likes carrot. He hates mango according to Hun. I dont think he likes jambu air either since he doesnt touch it. But he LOVES mealworms. Hehe~ lols.. yeah i think most gliders like live food. but some gliders like the one that im boarding for my friend, is freaked out of cricket but he simply looooves mealworms. my sub-adults can eat one cricket after another... both can finish rm1 worth of crickets in a night. i dont know how but they can... hmmm... |

QUOTE(emino @ Feb 8 2008, 08:15 PM) I'm wondering how damaging can a flash from a camera be to our gliders? Coz some shots are not nice without flashes. haha...![]() ![]() Here are some new pictures of Teddy. I dont smoke, so I make another use of the bekas abu rokok a friend gave me last year for my birthday. No idea why she gave me that Added on February 8, 2008, 8:17 pm Yeah, planning to neuter Teddy too. I want him to be handsome forever! Maybe in April. Added on February 8, 2008, 8:19 pm ![]() This was taken on Wednesday at my desk at Office. Isnt he adorable? I call that 'Breakfast in Bed' lol. QUOTE(spel'it @ Feb 10 2008, 08:37 AM) No prob for the suggestion. IcIc.. sad to hear that. yeah there are not many exotics vets here in malaysia =(Yups, Cheekoo is quite bald. Worrying too. Will get him n Koochee for a vet checkup when im in KL. Dun think here the vets are familiar with exotic animals like suggies. Will get back to you when i got the results. He's approximately (using's KP word, hehe) 6-7 weeks OOP. But i guess he was separated from his mother far too young. And we didnt know it before. Until i consulted KP. Well, a few websites on the net sure is misleading...hmmm....they said, the younger the better. Luckily we bump into this forum tho AFTER we bought them. So, im trying to give the best that i can and do damage control as much as i can. Bcoz i do love them so so much already. Thanks KP. Will do! N sure la SLR will makes the pics superb. Those latest pics of Cheekoo n Koochee was taken using dslr. But need to resize lor... Actually its not KP's word lah.. haha OOP/Out Of Pouch is universally used. All the best for your glider. yups ur SLR can make the artistically blurred effect some compact digicams cant. i wanted to get a d40x but the kit lens sucks... |
