There is a small leaking around black arrow and cause it keep got water dropping at red circle,

Anyone know if this kind small leaking should contact syabas or plumber?

The leaking area is around the end of the meter (the blue colour arrow is my main pipe)

its at the water meter / outside your house wall fence
need to move the water meter also

responsibility of syabas
you cannot touch it anyway, cause later they say you tamper with it

general rule, before meter call syabas, after meter call plumber
but for small leak like that.. syabas unlikely will layan.

Plumber because after meter. Before meter Syabas will fix even if it is a small leak.

Plumblers also need to temporary remove the meter nut when changing new piping.

This is easy diy. Use a spanner to further tighten the nut to check whether it stops the leak. Otherwise, remove the meter nut and roll few rounds of teflon tape at the threaded end and retighten.

based on meter's arrow pointing (direction of flow) it is after meter.
meaning homeowner punya problem. i cant see ur main valve, f it is possible to shut off the main valve i.e. to facilitate disconnection for repair without water leaking all over the place then can DIY order the parts to fix.

Likely need to pull off or cut off the chloroformed fittings before u can glue in new ones. For screw fittings just unscrew, but not many plumber like to give screw fitting as they cost a few cents more and not in their interest to make life easy for end user serviceable purpose

If it is leaking before the main valve this is tricky as u need to stuff in a stopper plug and tighten it down (with the full pressure of water spraying everywhere like water park).

doubt Syabas would come for such small issues...

better call your own plumber... if u know DIY, even better

Syabas won't come for tap dripping la.. it is not like water spout "free car wash" level flooding/burst pipe issue.

materials not that expensive to DIY..less than 50 including basic tools
or 4x to 8x that just to get someone to come. My plumber quote starts from 400 just to show up that it makes even [buying all the atas tools for DIY] look cheap.
