Suruhanjaya Tenaga, I kept calling them electric

Contacted electric commissioner
They came with a tnb staff and installed another meter on the MCB and another beside tnb
Well at the end of the the readings doesn't match
So they come up with a fixed amount based on my past bills
And the extra will be used to offset the future bills

I heard from electric commissioner that most of the time if you complaint to TNB
They will not do anything, other than coming with a probes meter
That tell you everything is off, meter is not running
When things are on meter is running it doesn't prove anything
But when reported to electric commissioner
They will came and install their own meter and your old ones
2 meters to compare the readings of new ones
Your walls might have some holes, but it was totally worth it

But still electric commissioner want you to complaint to TNB first
Then you complaint to electric commissioner about TNB's competency

Tnb sent me letter to change new smart meter months ago but I didn’t. Stick to old meter for now cannot afford to pay extra for smart meter bills

you can read the meter daily/same time and calculate your daily usage.. the best way...

my house 3 ppl stay , 2 air con 1+ 1.5hp alr every month 300-400
before smart meter did you temper with the old meter?
how come 3 air cond , letrik bill only 100++

But we stopped all Aircon in July since the bill date
Yup i know it's hard to make a bill estimation
But we expect to see a drop of charges instead it increases

That made me suspicious

unplug everything and see if the meter still runs

with 4 AC , 8 hours d , and water heater etc... the bill above 200 RM is about right .

That is why we are very suspicious of it, I don't know if the meter is tempered with because it's rental, but the technician didn't made noise about it like our next door neighbour, they told them up front and ask them to sign some letter which resulted in argument.

But July we didn't on Aircon at all that's the problem

i just calculate the letrik fee using 3 air cond alone
1hp + 1hp + 1.5hp , with each on 12 hours per days
its like from air cond alone alr 400
12 hours its abit on the extreme side , but my point is 3 air cond , your letrik fee only 100+ ? that doesnt sounds right
either its mulfunction or its tempeered

July no ON ... so this usage /the Bill will come in August only right

The bill just came 316 with the technician together to check

if all else fail
you need to buy/instal a digital power meter to check
