Anyone have series s or x using monitor can't get 1440p 144hz to work?
I can't get the resolution and refresh rate to work. only 1080p 144hz or 1440p 60hz. Monitor is Illegear bolt 27.
When I checked 144hz it will automatic kick me out of 1440p
anyone have same issue?

Xbox only support 120 fps, however I think the reason you only get 60hz on 1440p is because you are plugged in to the wrong HDMI port.

Your monitor have 3 HDMI ports, 2 of them are HDMI 1.4. You need to plug it in the HDMI 2.0 port.

Yep 1440p/120 work on my Odyssey G5, maybe try using another HDMI cable

You probably tried these already

- Make sure you check the display overrides in "General Video" -> "Fidelity & overscan" is set to auto-detect.

- Don't allow 50hz (Setting can be found in "General Video" -> "Video Modes")

- Allow YCC 4:2:2 (Setting can be found in "General Video" -> "Video Modes")

- Turn off adaptive sync on your monitor

If I are to set "Fidelity & overscan" to auto detect. the refresh rate option would have not there.

Mine wan ok. Series S & Benq M28U. can 4k120 summore, cause res 4k is the only way Xbox can do HDR. dont ask why S not X, I'm waiting for Gears 6 LE Series X. already bought the expensive Seagate MMC & another 3TB ext storage cause ayam a data horder tongue.gif

maybe either monitor hdmi port isnt 2.0 or the hdmi cable not 2.0 & above. cause my dumb self thought the One X is a Series X when my new monitor arrive. I try to force it to do 4k120. lol it either kick it to 4k60fps or 1440p120fps. took me awhile to notice One X hdmi is 2.0 not 2.1. ayam stupid bangwall.gif

Im using Illegear Bolt 27. yes, I tried on Series X and it not support 1440/120fps on that monitor sad.gif
That monitor only support 120/144hz via Display port. I tried HDMI to DP adapter too. its not working.
Next time when buy a monitor need to check the specs carefully the refresh rate via DP or HDMI or both.
I believe other brands like Prism, Titan Army also same like Illegear.

my cousin bought ASUS VG27AQ works on SX 1440/120.
