Hope I'm asking at the right place.
Does anyone have any idea if I need to regrout before applying primer and epoxy to waterproof the upper floor toilet floor?
No idea. Logically speaking, the epoxy will spread evenly across the floor. So, no need to regrout. But I've seen cases where the epoxy peels off after that... Even if it never peels off, it still sensitive to sharp objects.Does anyone have any idea if I need to regrout before applying primer and epoxy to waterproof the upper floor toilet floor?
I did waterproofing for my toilet 4 years ago, using epoxy flake flooring. I think, this is much better than using the epoxy paint. This is how my toilet looks like. The price that the contractor charged me is also mentioned there..
