As much as I want dislike button too, I think it promotes toxicity, something this community is already good at lol. Sometimes I just disagree with someone but lazy to argue.

Maybe if someone is often added to ignore list by others, they should get penalty on their effective post count (which ultimately decides their stars and "invite power"). Not sure what's a good formula though.

The system can be significantly improved just by discounting /k section, just like the current post count system. Still true in other sections but perhaps people are more likely to read through... I hope(?) Some long running threads that are actively managed by TS will also regularly update their first post to include useful replies by others, so that also gives more visibility to those good posts.

Main problem is whoever creating these Judashow dupes has only one goal: to troll certain someone ever since that person's emo outburst on /k... basically just continuing that one trolling behaviour to no end because they think it's funny. To me, people going batshit crazy is their problem, call them out on the same thread sure, but does not warrant constant cyberbullying for MONTHs.

I think it might even be different people behind this series of dupes just because it's a "fun recurring theme" even though the victim already wants to move on. I don't think it's a healthy behaviour but I don't see how mods will do anything about it, because it would mean they need to know what's going on to intervene and stop these stupid trends. Kinda sad that it's also allowed to continue e.g. the likes of Chuaboy, Kakwen and Ukeke contributing 0 IQ posts and clearly isn't a real person at this point, I also gave up reporting d.

So why was Judehow permabanned again? My impression of him was:
- often asked silly questions
- ridiculed by /k to no end
- hardly ever retaliated even until the end

I don't understand why he warrants a ban compared to these hordes of trolling dupes, each with their own agenda to push... unless Judehow himself was one(?)

Tbh knowing an account is a dupe 100% kills my interest in listening because I know I'd just be talking to a fake persona simply pushing an agenda. IMO keeping them for "freedom of speech" sounds more damaging to the forum to me 🤷‍♀️

Well, it's a real event that happened in a certain place involving certain people. Honestly, I feel that these "news reporters" are technically NOT breaking any rule so I have not reported any of them so far.

However, I do agree that: when you selectively present negative news from one specific country/demographic, you may be seen as trying to paint a bad picture on that group, so it is kind of promoting discrimination against that particular group, basically racial provocation.

Now, if boss says HELLO, CANNOT, (i.e. intentional selective reporting against 1 demographic by a single user is disallowed) then all I have to do to circumvent this new rule is
A) insert 10% news for other countries or positive news
B) use dupe accounts to diversify
...Moreover, I think the main issue is people's reaction to this - many take the bait and choose to talk shit and generalise. Thing is, if you don't bite the bait / fall for such provocation in the first place, then we wouldn't be talking about this at all.

So, as much as I hate to see dupes obviously trying to push an agenda or stir shit, in the end it still boils down to the audience and they are responsible for their own reactions. This forum has policy against racism so it means we can do our part to report them and don't feed the trolls.
