This forum format is outdated. Modern social media is based on showing you a Feed based on what an algorithm predicts you want to see. Lowyat forum doesn't have a Feed or an algorithm.

On a platform like Reddit, you can easily follow who is replying to who because you can follow the "thread" that shows who replied to who.

In Lowyat you have people on page 10 asking the same questions that were already answered in page 2 or 3.

Realistically I don't think se7en has the budget to update the platform to become more like modern social media.

I disagree. The tone of Kopitiam has been different after Ex Unseen Forces and Gagalland kena banned. I'm not sure why he isn't spamming more with his unnamed dupe though. Maybe it's his last remaining dupe?
