well wait until you try Orijen, Blackwood, Acana, Nutram, Artemis... wow a lot more 5 star and above brand... My pup is taking RC at 1st, then Innova, then Nutram now 2nd pack mixed with Addiction (Kangaroo & Wild Apples)... avoid cheap food if you want give better life to ur pup... but still it is very personal preferences coz some of u might have big breed which consume a lot a day so ur choice... QUOTE(samquah @ Jan 6 2010, 09:53 AM) may i ask how much to feed a small 2 months old puppy? i was giving about half a cup(science diet cup) but the pet shop say its too much she said only 1/4 of the cup per day i feel its too little.... because even half a cup, my puppy wallops it Added on January 7, 2010, 3:33 pmcan anyone advisE? if they can take it let them wallop it... until the 6th month then you have to control... what is ur breed of puppy... my Cammy 6 months old and about 1 foot in height and length she eat about 1/3 bowl of kibbles every meal (2 times a day)... so it really depends, sometimes when we feed her boil chicken, carrot and egg she can finish 1/2 bowl within 10 minutes... so it really depend on themselves

is like that lo... my poodle also shit more is she wants... ok... lets make that feed around half a bowl every time... the growing stages we should feed them more so that they will grow into shape... just give them about 1/2 cup every meal... hold back after 6 months just to make sure she is not obese... coz i saw some homebreed mongrels can be obese like human haha... puppy grow stage is until 8 month ~ 1 yr so control the food when you think is needed after 6th month is ok... after u get the amount then u can easily feed them according... FYI if ur pup did not run always means u feed about 20%~25% lesser compare to normal meal, if you spend time with it to play and run around then different story...
