Finally, someone did read my post biggrin.gif I'm glad  rclxms.gif

A little study can avoid we, as a consumer being cheated by all commercial advertisement.

I've made some a random comparison here, no offense to any brand ok?

Let's take a look at Science Diet Puppy Original.
http://www.hillspet.com/zSkin_2/products/p..._details.jsp...

Check the ingredients and you will see the major 3 ingredients before Animal Fat are Ground Whole Grain Corn, Chicken By-Product Meal, Soybean Meal.
1. In our discussion, we prefer Chicken Fat or Sunflower oil, we DO NOT want any unspecified Fat (Animal Fat for this case).
2. The 3 major ingredients before fat are Grain, By-Product and Soybean. See the problem? Non of these are Real Meat.

Now, let us look at Chicken Soul Puppy Formula
http://www.chickensoupforthepetloverssoul..../puppy_formula/
The 6 majors ingredients before chicken fat are Chicken, turkey, chicken meal, ocean fish meal, cracked pearled barley, whole grain brown rice, chicken fat.

You are smart, compare yourself, how much Real Meat available for this product compare to previous product? Are you feeding your dog a fast food? Perhaps a hamburger made of grain and bean?

Great stuff to share...today I also happened to found this site, http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/

I was considering about the Acana brand, but from the above site I found one of the best brand I could get in Malaysia is still Orijen brand.

I'm currently feeding my dog Orijen, but one of my ACS (Golden) stomach is a bit sensitive, cannot tolerate 100% Orijen feeding, caused him diarrhea two incidents already. So I had mixed Orijen with NutriEdge for all of them. But learn from that site http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/ , found that NutriEdge is not even listed there in the rank at all, so may be I should switch when I finish the NutriEdge pack, and go with 50% Acana and 50% Orijen.

ah..i think i get your idea smile.gif
thanks a lot..i think this will help ^^
I use Blackwood now..as recommended by the breeder
just now when she poo, the poo seems a little bit watery
is it normal for her..??
or wait n see for several days..?
*
Did she had her vaccin 2-3 days ago? Did the breeder dewormed the puppy? Check with your breeder for those info. It is easier for you to tell the vet if anything went wrong. Did you add milk into the food?

she just got her first jab and dewormed last 2 days..
actually i wanted to at the first time.. and then
i didnt add milk coz i see the poo was watery..

Better don't add milk since its poo is watery. A bit soft poo is quite common for puppy, but should not watery like purging type. Observe its poo and see any worms coming out? Since it has been dewormed 2 days ago, should spot the worms coming out then. Does the nose dry or wet? When the dog is not feeling well, its nose will be dry or very watery like running nose.

Why don't you take it to the vet for check up since you can't really sure what went wrong with her.

Mua..ha.ha.. I finally found a recipe to make the poo not smelly. Add in an organic ingredient into my dog kibbles together with brew yeast.

I feed my dogs with Origen, and their poo really stinky! Ever since I add that secret ingredient (dog show breeder secret) into their food, their poo no longer smelly. And that natural ingredient is supposed to make their fur long and shinny as it contain Omega 3 & 6.

Ha..ha...those want to know what secret ingredient is, need to belanja me coffee/teh tarik first then only I share the secret.

Knew it is nice for fur/coat, didnt know it will improve poo... How much do you add into kibbles? How to know enough or not  hmm.gif  You went away early that day... like madmoz said, do you want me to bankin you RM2 for the coffee? Or you wait till the next time we meet  laugh.gif
*
Belanja me next time when u see me. I blended it into powder, then add one table spoon full into the kibbles. Add little bit water to moist the kibbles so that the powder could stick onto the kibbles, then stir even and serve.

Hmmm, I didn't know that flaxseed improve the poo smell too. Thanks for the tips!
Must it be in seed form and then blend into powder for the effect? I know there is flaxseed oil under solid gold brand sold in petshop, mainly for fur coat maintenance. Don't know whether it will give the same effect to the poo or not.  unsure.gif

I accidentally discover this as well...all this while their poo was very smelly before I introduced them flaxseed. Now not that bad wor. Sometime can see the seed didn't digest properly still appear a bit in their poo.

Oh..got sell in oil form uh?? How much is it? Expensive or not?

about this...does it really make the fur better? I feed my dog dry food...can mix with the flex-thing?
*
Actually I just started feeding my dogs since last week. It has been a week, yes...it does help, my dogs' fur now looks glossy. And even I bath them today without conditioner, still feel quite moisture like that.

Recently I tried Avoderm on my dogs. Not bad, the poo is less and not smelly too. I quite like Blackwood, but many petshop ran out of stocks, and I couldn't get Blackwood for my dogs, so I bought NutriEdge (breeder pack) for them. Unfortunately, they all had soft stool after consuming NutriEdge for the 1st day, so I quickly look for Blackwood in other petshops, but still couldn't find, at the end I bought Avoderm to mix with the NutriEdge.

hello juztiny...
where is your location?? why no blackwood de??
*
I went to petshops in Cheras Taman Segar, Taman Len Seng, Bandar Damai Perdana. Limited choice, some has Blackwood but for puppy not for adult.

Anyway I think Avoderm also not bad, as the poo is less, that means my dogs' bodies do absorb the food, and not smelly poo also not soft.

oh i see...
im basically on regal right now...
after regal then go to orijen smallest packet i can get my hands on to try it out smile.gif
*
Well..to me as long as the ingredient of the dog kibbles are good (without corn) and my dogs consumed show no adverse result, I will continue. Orijen ingredient is good, but not all my dogs can tolerate it. Golden will fart a lot when consumed Orijen, and its poo will be soft as compared to my other dogs. When on Blackwood, his poo is normal as other dogs, and no fart too. When on NutriEdge, all dogs of mine got soft stool. But when on Avoderm, they all ok. Golden has sensitive stomach, if the dog food suits him, that means that food is good and safe for all my dogs. brows.gif

Pinnacle smells weird... but for dogs that are not picky, it is good.
*
Hmm..the result is out on Pinnacle, the poo is not smelly, but kind of moist type not really hard type, still can say managble to scoop. But my dogs love it, still curi-curi open the container and eat after they already finished their meals. My Golden is the best tester, if didn't show any adverse result on him means good for him. He easily have soft poo if the food is not right for him.
