Since starting May, i having a Irritable bowel syndrome.
Keep feeling that need to have a bowel movement, even I already had one.
All stool are normal, no bleeding, no pain, just the Irritating feel that keep want to have bowel movement, BUT there's no poo come out. End up sitting there for nothing.
I already went to a specialist, also have my colonoscopy, result is normal, doctor say is proctitis (rectum inflammation) , and give me some Rectal medicines, after 2 week still same, so i went back for follow up, Doctor just change another Rectal medicines for me, until now the syndrome still same.
Thinking to find another gastroenterology specialist, hope can get some recommendation from here.
Thanks!

I guess if you have had a scope and all the tests the most important thing to note is that everything was clear.
Beyond that unless they send you for more scopes or tests I wonder what else they can give you?
Like the other posts have said maybe first see if
1. How is your weight? 2. Are you smoking / drinking alcohol? 3. What is your lifestyle like and stress levels? 4. What is your diet like? Do you drink 2L of water
Ask yourself when did it start happening? How often do you go to the toilet and when? Do you go in the evening or morning? Do you have good toilet habits or sit their gaming and scrolling for ages.
These are the questions you will be asked and apart from meds they will probably just persuade you to clean your act up. Maybe do that first. Drink lots of water, keep a food journal and see how you go.

Me too suffering from similar symptoms. Except, i tend to "lao sai" or cirit birit on/ff, at least 3-4 days of the week. I went for colonoscopy and endoscopy , 6 years ago ard 30 years old. But Dr ruled out everything and said most likely IBS.
I get this tenderness on my left lower side, waist area. Sometimes it radiates to the back as well. Went to GP/specialist multiple times but they brush it off. After doing recent reading, i highly suspect i may have Diverticulosis, especially since i have SO much gas and farting helps me relieve some discomfort.
I read a lot of threads here, about ppl with stomach, ibs etc related issues. One of them suggested drinking lemon water every morning once you've woken up. I will try that and see how it goes. Maybe u can try it too.

I’ve posted in other threads before about my personal great experience with a gastroenterologist. Actually it was my mom’s and gf whom were treated well by him. I have a friend with similar issue early this year not getting well despite seeing a lot of gastroenterologists elsewhere but became well after seeking 2nd opinion from him.
