Hi newbie first time home owner here. biggrin.gif

Was searching though the forums but all the advice are kinda piecemeal and can be contradicting and confusing.

Just got VP of my new subsale strata terrace house. Have some questions if anybody can help?

1. What documents is my lawyer supposed to provide me? My lawyer pretty useless. Doesn't guide and very reluctant to reply my messages. So far they have emailed me a digital copy of the stamped SPA and land title. Thats all.

2. For reconnection of utilities. I have managed to reconnect my TNB using the MyTNB website. Super efficient no need to go branch.

However, for Air Selangor and Indah Water, how can I go about it? Will I need to get the account numbers? If so from who, my lawyer or the vendor?

3. Have already informed management office of the change in owner, but seems like they are WFH, very very slow.

Anything else I am missing or need to do?

Thank you so much for your help.

If forumers advise are contradicting and confusing, why want to ask forumers again ?

Your origiinal developer will be in a better and qualified position to answer you

I am sorry if my question irritated you enough to have to write that. Reason I am asking is because the answers are all piecemeal. Couldn't find a post that actually detailed the steps post VP. Also some of the answers are from a few years back. I.e. there was no solution that said one can actually reconnect through TNB online instead of the old answer of having to go to the branch - so hopefully this will be useful for other newbies like me.

Cant ask my developers as it is an old subsale property.

Thanks.

There is no answer that is complete and accurate in a forum. Every post is based on theiir experience at that point of time.

Whatever answers provided now may not be applicable next year. So how one say is confusing or contradicting then.

Answers are provided based on questions. No one is gonna write more than necessary. Some may only answer part of the question he knows and leave the rest to others.

Pre covid days and now ... the procedures can change.
