Hi folks,
I have a group of Chinese clients (from China specifically) and they only prefer using WeChat (duh..). yet we all know that weChat is not the best in security/privacy and that is my concern.
As i know there are many third party apps that can run ICQ, Yahoo Messenger, or Facebook messenger. So i wonder if there is a third party app that can send and receive WeChat messages without using the actual weChat?
TIA.
-edited- Android platform

QUOTE(Created On 21/1/2021 @ Aug 3 2021, 11:18 AM) You do realize if you're using third party app, the messages are still send through wechat server right? yes, im aware of that. Using the highly doubtful weChat app does give the risk to expose my banking and transactions and all personal details in my phone. My preference is replace weChat with a trustable and secure app, so that even the content of chat is back to weChat server, but atlease my other data in cellphone arent in risk. Any suggestion for such app in ditching weChat? This post has been edited by yamato: Aug 5 2021, 11:18 AM

So you want a 3rd party app for Wechat like how there’s quite a few Telegram clients out there.
As far as I know there are none. Modded apps are probably your best bet sadly.
