DG Hisham is just conservative public health wise.

Last year he opposed Sabah election and the lack of quarantine order
sos

last year, he said would have done 2-weeks genuine full lockdown to stop 3rd wave
sos

in recent months, he wanted lockdown, especially on businesses and factories.
sos

So advicing to postpone Parliament for 14 days after 78 people are confirmed positive is consistent with his past positions

politicians from both sides dont listen to all his advices. if situation improves, politicians will try to take credit. but if shit gets worse, they will blame DG/KKM (like Azmin's former aide)

he said no need do mandatory quarantine after sabah election. our cases went up a lot higher when selangor did mass testing (what was kkm doing?). he is not so conservative/careful after all. only selectively

However, it is learnt that Dr Noor Hisham had opposed the holding of the elections due to the pandemic, and then the campaigning and the immediate return of politicians and their supporters to the peninsula without quarantine.

KKM was mulling mandatory quarantine. PH politicians said that would prevent people from voting. PN don't want to lose any votes too.. End up politicians > KKM, and no compulsory quarantine.

When cases shot up, DG is blamed.

The way he talked about Delta variant and 15 seconds infection as well as airborne is very irresponsible.

Delta is no doubt more contagious compared to the earlier variants but is it really 15 seconds and he saying it airborne like the earlier variants are not airborne is also very misleading.

There is always an inconsistency in all the message he's giving out.

One day, scare people but on another day says things like 90%+ cases are category 1 and 2.

This create a confusing picture for the rakyat to follow.

What is the real situation we are facing now?

Australian health officials are warning it no longer takes up to 15 minutes to pass on the deadly virus.

It can be a "fleeting moment" of just five to 10 seconds.

I am not saying it is not more contagious but to say everyone will get infected within 15 seconds is scaremongering.

below is what he said.. I think you misunderstood if you think he said everyone will get infected within 15 seconds

"In the past, positive cases happen if someone comes in close contact with an infected person for 15 minutes or less than one-metre apart.

"Now with the Delta variant, infections can happen within 15 seconds,

are you PR for the DG. It seems that you are working hard to protect our DG.....  laugh.gif

I think most of us won't be totally blaming DG as we all know the predicament of salaried main esp the goverment servant at the top management.

but we are dissapointed that the DG is letting himself being easily manipulated by those group of people for their convenience.  shakehead.gif

if politicians follow all his advices .. cases and deaths definitely won't be so high today.. and more people could work..

so yes.. I support him on that
