for now only zcity give discount to reload TnG/Boost..
Even if reload TnG at petrol station, myNews 7Eleven etc have extra charge right, RM0.50..

Nope, buying reload pin got service charge too. I do that every month with CC.

Some charge 1% or 2 %, but there are still no charge at all petrol station.

No more service charge for so many years 🤦‍♀️ as it against BNM PCRF rules and has outlawed this charge many years back and yet you are still paying it 🤦‍♀️

there are alot of merchant out there especially small biz still charging.
if they dont charge they also marked up in the product selling price.
some goverment website also like to charge convivence fee using CC c got kena BNM or not
not silly, but if can cover back that cost + untung. willing seller willing buyer.. who cares?

some lipoting merchant charge 1-2% extra if using cc to buy property and car.
so we wait you to u go report these merchant to BNM la.

Many of us are in this situation so need to buy, no choice.
As only when we finish up the coins we earn all the discounts from the membership pack.
Luckily they replenish more Boost and TnG pins so it's been easier to buy not like before

Service charge for usage of CC is against BNM rules (and as others have mentioned, it still happens).

Service charge for pin purchase service (whether cash or CC) is not.

As long as the pin is generated through a bank or merchant issued machine with MDR contract attached to it 🤦‍♀️ it is illegal and have breach PCRF already 🤦‍♀️ as the machine cannot issue or have the word charge or service fee on it 🤦‍♀️

Only machine that have service fee still haven’t abolished and unfortunately still in use is the old TnG reload machine which doesn’t fall under BNM jurisdiction
