Beware of fake mask, even those from korea
Fake: Pureblue, Hwipure Mask, Clean Soom

Saw this on sale in Lazada just now, almost bought it but saw some review say it's thinner than other kf94 they bought b4 so I googled the brand

According to the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, making and selling unauthorized quasi-drugs are subject to prison terms of less than five years or fines of less than 50 million won.

The ministry launched an investigation after receiving consumers' complaints that the purchased air mask appeared to be a fake. Further investigation is being conducted to find companies that distribute unauthorized air masks."

You're using an old news back in 2020 to justify the Hwipure mask sold in lazada is fake ? The news clearly stated that Hwipure was licensed product, just that got some unscrupulous maker packaging using their branding to sell their bogus product. So, how to relate that the lazada product is fake just because it's selling hwipure mask which is licensed brand in Korea ? Or do you imply Hwipure is fake brand that's not recognized in Korea ? There's also lots of fake samsung phone, does it indicate Samsung phone is fake brand because there's fake Samsung phone being sold ?

I'd been using Hwipure mask from lazada and found no issue with the mask (personal usage experience), even the static property is very strong compare to even other KF94 being sold much expensive than the Hwipure mask.

Nevertheless, it's a free economy, if you have doubt that it may be fake product, don't buy. But generally speaking, genuine KF94 and even KN95 (china) is much better quality than rm35 "surgical" mask sold (70 sen cap priced). "Surgical" mask without "static" property is rather useless to trap covid virus.
