yes new car, it occurs after my 1st service...by the way, mine is not the latest VIOS model. during my 2nd service, i've highlighted to SC but same still happens...dissapointing la.

the smell is the same as fungus...

it takes about 4 hrs for a normal service (speaking of 1st & 2nd svc) on a weekday, i purposely took a day off 2 svc my car.

i've spoken to the supervisor and he said if the smell still happens, i'll hav 2 leave my car as they will send to denso (air-con vendor) to claim its warantty.... sad.gif

no, my car won't feel any smell. you don't need to wait until 2nd service. just give them a call and asked them to check for you. of course you need to spend one day there-lah!!!!

the smell is oni a while when i switch on the air-con...in fact, during my 2nd svc, i've told d supervisor n they say they have done the best....if i'm not satisfied, they will send my car back to its vendor for claims.

about the new vios, technically speaking is only a face-lift model...n i think they are using inferior materials than the previous one.

there is noting fanstatics features in this model, well, the cheapest toyota car, what can you expect??

yes, new car smell is very harmful to our health. Better open your car windor all the time when you drive your new car until the smell go off.
So, new car smell doesn't mean good for body!!!!    brows.gif

Again it is personal taste...I like a new one...but if Front car body get hit....then need more money to replace new front body assembly.
Yes, is a copy from YARIS...like City also copy from JAZZ, Persona copy from GEN 2...why?
because wan to cost down. they can use same design even same parts....not need keep more stock and can use both type of car.  biggrin.gif

i managed to close my hood of my previous car, proton 1.3 iswara aeroback.... but not Vios

yes, it's true...you need 2 lift n use d weight of d hood to lock...

i'm really amazed by d engine revving n pick up with i pressed d OD off! 1.5 is like 1.6!

I think the sales lady( u said she ) donno how to close the bonet..

The way of close the vios bonet is lift the bonet 1 feet or higher and let it fall down it self...  not close it then use hand to push..  that way doesn't work....
