Anyone knows when the VVT-i kicks in for the new vios? I still havent fully test my car as mileage still below 1K. Heard that the new city VTEC kicks in at around 4K RPM.

VVT-i is variable valve timing thats works at all rpm range by varying the valve timing, while VTEC is a lift system that only engage at certain point (excluding the i-VTEC sytem).

Hi All Bros and Sis,
The original Tyre for G Spec is 185/60/15... Anyone change to Size 195/60/15 before?? Izit going to scrap the wheel arc???

I am thinking to change to 195/60/15 and not sure if it will scratch with the wheel arc. Besides that, any recommendation on which tyre and maybe together with cost as well???
Thanks in advance

Cheers

with 195/60, the overall wheel radius will be larger, but i believe the % larger is tolerable since the wheel arc is quite far away...

but usually most people will change to 195/55/15 instead of 195/60/15...

my self also surveying for replacement tyres as well coz mine will becoming 2 years old + already cover 20K km oledi...

u may visit the pinned thread on this FnF board for tyre advice.. smile.gif

it wont since the rim size still 15', for vios, max is 17', but 18' sure cannot ...

195/55/15 will be smaller than the stock 185/60/15 while 195/60/15 will definitely bigger than the stock one...  smile.gif

The195 is the tyre width, nothing to do with radius. nod.gif
