I have test drove the Vios today, too bad to say even my gen 2 highline ride comfort, interior quality ,sound proofing and engine power is better than it . =(, anyhow i will still sell my gen 2 and get this car because i need a Auto car for everyday City driving.

QUOTE(Dickong @ Jun 8 2008, 10:11 AM) Your remarks tell us that vios is totally no match with gen2 n you are buying vios, something is wrong with you, becos the car is not up to your mark since gen2 is so superior than vios n you still go for vios. Since you like so much about auto car n gen2 is so good why not change to gen2 auto or some other auto cars. Wait till you test drive this 2 cars and you will know about what i'm talking, since i personally experience it and this is what i think after driving this 2 cars.Anyway within my budget for auto cars i only can buy either Vios or City, City model is old now and i could not wait for the launch of the new City. It would be stupid if i buy back the same model of car , i'm tired of the Waja outlook so my only choice now within my budget is the vios. DOn't get me wrong, i love the Vios Outlook and it serves the purpose right as a entry level car, i'm just saying out base on what i personally experience and my expectation was quite high before i test drove the car. Cheers |

QUOTE(dstl1128 @ Jun 9 2008, 10:38 AM) First you have to understand that the engine/ecu of Vios is adaptive and self-adjust to driver preferences. Thanks for pointing this out dude, Yes i know N.Lation scores better in sound proofing but its beyond my budget, Honda City is good but the model is quite old now and i can't wait for the new launch of the new one either late this year or next year.Second you have to know that those test drive car, usually are driven like turtle. Thirdly, it takes the period of around at least half-a-tank of fuel used (rough guide) in order to feel the ECU start adapting your styles. Fourthly, E/G/S - which one you test drove? Honestly, - 1.6L Gen2 Manual with high rev driving will anytime have better engine power. - Campro idle is more quiet than 1NZFE. - 1.6L Gen2 Auto is far behind in terms of FC & performance of 1NZFE Auto. There's no perfect car. Why Vios? The stuff you complain in T.Vios, might score better in N.Latio and H.City. I'm glad to hear that it takes some time for the ECU to start adapting to my style. I have test drove the G model, and i'm actually gonna purchase the E-model because of tight budget. Anyhow i still love Vios for its outlook and exterior build quality + petrol consumption is still lower than my Gen 2, and its Auto most importantly! Thanks for all the comments though, i appreciate it alot. |

QUOTE(dstl1128 @ Jun 11 2008, 09:19 AM) The gearing behavior also change too. Got Latio 1.6 Auto for RM87,945?The most noticeable is when you often flat highway road, then once in a while going uphill - the car damn lazy to move up and have to press more. Added on June 11, 2008, 9:34 am Save more 1st before buying loh. If you rush and buy, later regret owning one. Just wait until you have enough d/p, then buy it. Vios E - RM 79,200.00 Latio 1.6 Auto - RM87,945.50 Diff - RM8745.50 Assume you loan 7 yrs, int 2.3%, you are paying RM121 extra per month - for a 1.6L and a vastly more quiet ride. Anyway Vios-E now is selling for rm76,700 only after discount, difference still around RM10k+, anyway yes i'm still waiting for new HONDA city to be released only decide. |
