Well my thumb sound can be reproducible on certain speed and humps.

I don't think the warranty will be voided.  When i got my car, the salesman even purposely don't want to help me stick my road tax because he knew i wanted to tint my car.  But if you go and modify your car alarm, then the warranty is voided.

It's not the leather wrap, which I initially thought was the cause of the problem.

I think it's the mechanism inside the connector to the belt, damn noisy when I shift my body a little in the car.

Plus, I cannot go without the seat belt, the warning beep is much more annoying!

oh..but mine was rectified by just adjusting the seat position..
up a bit, frnt a bit, back a bit, change the angle then put it back to original position
then no more sound! 

My personal best fuel consumption yet. The bar started blinking at 605km. Usually 500+km already blinking.

For me 1.3L auto (MyVi) vs 1.5L auto (Vios), I think it is fuel saving enough. City drive is about the same (or even better) but Vios have better performance.

For highway, then Vios will be very good. I go Penang, when the fuel indicator just reach half-tank, my milleage is 375km. constant 120kmph.

I agreed. I check through the tyre calculator that 195/55/15 will be -1.2% smaller while the 195/60/15 will be + 1.99% bigger overall.. 

Anyway, izit going to scratch the rear wheel arc using 195/60/15??

Anyone install 195/60/15 in New Vios b4??

Yes, The 195 is the width of the thread across but the 60 which is the height of the sidewall is calculated based on 195. If I remember correctly, the 60 is 60% of the width of 195. So, If the width is 185 and 60% of 185 will be slightly lower than 60% of 195...

Yeap yeap...Thanks for the info... I do understand that when we travel at 100km/h then the actual speed will be additional 2% coz the bigger radius...

I think I will go ahead with 195/60/15 coz it will be much more comfy and just worried it will touch the wheel arc. I ask few tyre shops and non of them have any customer change to 195/60/15 b4.

no offense but ur info got some error on the 2nd and 3rd part.

185 = width of tire in mm, this is correct
60 = % of width to get the side wall height. 60% of 185 and 60% of 195 will give different height on the sidewall as stated by leowhy.
R15= rim diameter in inches not radius. if R15 radius, means the rim is 30 inch edi

195/60 will give u broader tires for more surface contact patch and slightly taller sidewall compared to 185/60 which will give u more comfort. but the taller sidewall means more sidewall flex.

if comfort is your main priority, u can give it a try, no harm done.

done my first 1000KM service today at UMW Subang Jaya branch service centre...nothing much....since is only first 1000KM service

car is ok after collection..so far so good...

i think the main thing is dun let them wash your car...or else..everything will screw up....cause they give to so call "3rd Party Contractor"...actually is just normal wash..but with "Kain Buruk"...wash dunno how many cars already..

actually, better to use mineral oil for the 1st 5,000km. after that then change to semi. at least the SC charge u accordingly and never overcharge.

if im not mistaken, toyota SC uses Pennzoil engine oil. SM , SL , SF all these are API ratings. SM is currently the latest rating by API where as SL is for 2004 and older engines.

do u know what brand of engine oil does Toyota SC use?? i read b4 they use pennzoil, and i checked the pennzoil info on the net and apparingly all its engine oil is API SM standard. unless if their not using pennzoil but some other brand?

huh?? how can Pennzoil oil be behind time when it's currently API SM which is the latest standard? but the toyota SC use SL, that one behind time la. but from Pennzoil also wor.....

this is whats confusing me. toyota SC give API SL pennzoil oil, but at pennzoil oil website stated that the normal to the platinum series all exceed API SM.

actually when most people said after pump this petrol, use better spark plug etc, their fc improve is not that true ...

example, press brake and accelerate again, it will led to more petrol consume ... drive 4 -5 people at once, also led to petrol increase ...

hmm ... they should have input your service record into thei system, so the chop is secondary when come to claim warranty ... still, if you got time better go back and ask them chop, together with the receipt ...
