QUOTE(waif @ Nov 22 2007, 05:24 PM) Bro, U test ur top speed before ? Not yet got chance to go highway yet, will post here when I try at that speed (or more speed I haven't really test mine. I ran it until 140kmph only bcoz got other family member in car when going back Johor. The wind resistance noise seem very loud at 140kmph. I rode in a Honda Civic the previous generation before the current one. 140- 160 still silent like nothing at all ~! Other than that, I found that the Vios is bouncing on some part of the highway when traveling at 140 kmph. Should I complain to the service centre or just the stupid PLUS highway condition ??? QUOTE I'm shocked you said that the new vios is bouncy when travelling at 140kmph?Is this for real?and the the sound of the wind is loud? i thought there was ASL right? ASL is just having louder volume when going faster. Nothing to do with canceling/damping noises. Added on November 23, 2007, 10:53 am QUOTE(samquah @ Nov 23 2007, 10:46 AM) - exterior, Vios looks much better than Latio. - 1.6L vs 1.5L - quite obvious who's the winner in FC Comfort, I think Latio should be better but I don't give that much weigh to comfort, as long as not like LMST or Viva. My 1st service (I insisted on the ATF change):Gasket 1.70 ATF Fluid WS (4L) 129.80 Oil Filter 29.15 Toyota Motor Oil (4L) Mineral 59.90 Total: 220.55 (90.75 if stick with original plan - no ATF change). It is that cheap because labour is free currently. Otherwise, labour is many times more expensive than outside. I request for using semi synth... but they forget and use Mineral. QUOTE(samquah @ Nov 23 2007, 10:46 AM) QUOTE(dstl1128 @ Nov 23 2007, 10:49 AM) - exterior, Vios looks much better than Latio. Looks is kinda subjective, don't you think? - 1.6L vs 1.5L - quite obvious who's the winner in FC Comfort, I think Latio should be better but I don't give that much weigh to comfort, as long as not like LMST or Viva. While the Latio Sedan may look odd at first sight, i'm beginning to fall for it as time goes by, so may the new Vios. I may give a 2 thumbs up for the previous gen Vios, except for its cabin space. What i love the most about this new Vios is the gate shifter, the centre armrest design, the flat floor and the implementation of an electrical power steering. However, it's disheartening to learn that the material quality felt like a downgrade from the previous version, yet priced expensively with minimal accessories installed. Hopefully these issues could be solved in the future facelift model. Oh, does anyone here knew that the Vios in Brunei has a rear skirt installed for the S spec? |

previously SC only provide either mineral or fully syn oil...just currently toyota comes out a semi syn.....since fully syn is much very expensive compare to mineral....this semi syn is suits for those users for middle budget....
betwn depends ur driving style...if u are racer alwis rev ur car or alwis high high speed, then suggest to use fully syn...if just normal drive..then can use semi syn..... |

QUOTE(tcting @ Nov 23 2007, 08:57 PM) Actually, for this new Vios, can barely feel anything when going at 130kmph, only reaching 140 then it is more noticeable for me.My family member very sensitive one, Avanza going at 120kmph already started grumbling saying the car is shaking and all sorts of things. As for new Vios, the family member sleeping soundly at 130kmph. |
