I'm getting my VIOS this week and the salesman asked me if I want to tint it and polish it... According to the salesman, the tinting will be from V-Kool and will costs me RM 1700 while the polishing can lasts longer and provide color protection on the car and will costs me RM 600... So like to ask all the sifu here, does it worth it ??
*
it is depend what type of V-kool they offer? V-kool got so many grade and becareful....!!! I think you can get very good grade if you do it outside store with RM1700. 3M is a good choice... 95% total energy reduce
regarding colour protection....
what the point? normally the car will more easy get scratcher/hit than get colour lost. Like my car got a lot scratcher and small hole when the car on the road (just 7 month only). I need more often polish, so that I can only know... sad.gif
for my opinion, no.

I saw quite a lot of New vios on the road... can any of u guy give any detail of how much ur full tank and can run how many KM??
how many litre is for the vios full tank huh???
40 litre??

yesterday i pump full tank.. when i still got on bar of it left... and i pump 36.10 litre... and cost RM69.31..
i saw in this forum.. ppl claim tat they can run full tank up to 520 km??
is tat really possible??
with full tank i can only go up to rougly 450 km... is it cos of my driving skill?? or cos of i live in kl??
it seem like rougly every 50km i drive the bar metre will drop one one bar.. no matter how constantly i drive.. it seem like how i lap the accelerate it still the same..

my fren told me at.. his sis.. drive and keep accelerate.. and also can run up to 500++ km.. and she also live in kl.. but she is using the previos model... and i say maybe cos new vios got more weight.. so the fuel consumption will be higher? but ppl claim tat will save more fuel right??

and btw .. vios car rim is 15" .. in theoretical... rim with 14" will more save fuel.. cos it is more lighter right?? then vios car tyre is 65mm in height or watever.. i dont know is the length or wat.. but i guess is the height of the tyre throughout its circumference.. the tyre specialist claim tat if it is 55 mm or watever.. will be all right already..
and will save fuel.. and he give me one catalogue.. abt one kind of tyre which can save fuel up to 4.7%... got such thing? is it true? that really can save fuel like tat?

and futhermore, i feel like want to change rim.. some ppl ask me dont change.. use the original first.. but those rim really make me want to change.. they eat my rims only.. for rm400 and tat rim cost abt 980 ( before the price is rm1500, they will special offer so is rm980).. so i need to pay rm580 for it. I dont really know abt car.. so i wish u guy can give me some comment on it.. and beside that.. they said tat the rim i bought from them.. no matter which one. sure gonna be lighter compare to my original rim.. will tat save a lot??

Ha... it is sound like you buy car without knowing your car spec...or buy from your parent and give it to you only. tongue.gif
3rd generation Vios Fuel tank is 42Liter but compare with 1st and 2nd generation vios fuel tank are 45Liter.
That why old vios can reach 530km easily.

If you pump 36.10km, mean that 42-36.10km=5.9liter.
that say, 450km : 36.10 liter; ~ 12.46km : 1 liter or 0.154sen/km
mean that, you still left 5.9liter : 73.51km. So, your car still can travel 73.51km distance. But your car will break down after 73.51km. No petrol biggrin.gif
It is not a good pratice...reason bcoz you need to find a petrol station or somehow traffice jam.
anyhow your fc is quite high...is it heavy traffice everyday? ohmy.gif

Fuel consumption few thing need to consider....
1. your driving style, it is depend how you increase your accelerate. everytime you press hard(start and stop), the fuel consumption will more higher.
2. yes, more heavy of your car, fuel consumption will more higher. remove all rubbish.
3. aircond....
4. Rim 14" fuel consumption will more save than Rim 15" because 14" tyres Tough the grond surface is less than 15". speed of your car for 14" tyre is more higher than 15". but 15" tyre will give more steady than 14"
5. Traffice jam
6.....you can refer our previos post regarding FUEL CONSUMPTION post....

regarding rim....will depend on your rim quality...some rim will easy break when your car is enter to HOLE (u know-lah our M'sia road)....
all the RIM are mark up very high price. you won't see any cheap price...bcoz when you see the cheap price, you will wonder their RIM quality...
that why the price is higher.... that is business-mah!!! blush.gif

ha...just PO only...correct me if I'm wrong.... smile.gif

i think the FC is good for me liao hahahahaha
my myvi is rm50 run at 250KM only 100% City drive, vios can run more then 400KM for the rm50 is really good for me liao smile.gif.
myvi only is good on highway only hahahahaahhhaha(outstation).
thanks guy for the info. i lazy to calculate mah so i ask here loh coz thinking to change my myvi liao, after have a baby so my myvi is too small liao ahhahahaha, one car seat for baby and her 'personal car' already is full my boot liao hahaahahhaha, so thinking to have vios or avanza 1.5 smile.gif
which one u all prefer ah since is toyota fans of me hahahahaahha.
*
Avanza is a big car with average price.....more room to put a lot thing, but FC will more higher than vios.
nowaday, the petrol will increase every year...u won't see the petrol price drop unless our goverment can find a new oil fountain/source or crazy.
so, fc should be 2nd option for your case unless your petrol is subsidi by your company or rich!!! biggrin.gif

for me....I may consider for fc CITY (IDS) < Vios < Latio if you not plan to change a new between 5-10 year.
Power Latio < Vios < City (IDS)
Room space Latio < Vios < City, but I heard that City will launch new version.
another rumor is Vios will launch Manual version....
regarding comparison City vs Vios vs Latio, u may find from our previos discussion. biggrin.gif

if you purchased a car E-spec, will you remove the E-logo, so that other people won't know your car spec?
I saw a car just now...
