Oh. My situation is like stop the car there, listen 1 or 2 songs, or move few inches in front, for 1hr+ (another 1hr+ for going back). Everyday like that.

Hopes it'll get better later on.

Not idle, moving one. Just accelerate from 0 to 110. Tried once only.

That is original for G spec.

Don't simply think lah. Go and compare physically. If consider as facelift model, from smaller than City interior to bigger, this is one hell of a facelift.

New Vios got auto sound leveling.. which other car of this class don't have.


Hmm... wider a bit (just few cm I forgot the figure), 10cm more legroom, headroom higher a bit (again few cm), boot more litre.

In the end the new Vios cabin is larger than Honda City, but the boot is still 25L short of City's... (Latio headroom is crazy large)

Cabin size compare: Vios < City < New Vios < Latio
Boot: Vios < New Vios < Latio < City



But one thing, I notices the black trim in between the two front & back doors mirror, is actually stickers and not paint! You guys can go and check on the demo car.

Not only that, S is in amber color. G and E is white color. Whilte look nicer.

You more lansi like that. . To say ugly, new Waja front is the prize winner. Even Latio odd potato shape looks better.





Anyway, my 2nd FC stats.... 11.5km/L. Up from 10.9km/L on my first. This Sat going for 1st service, should be much better after this.

Haha. Usually 'green' color aren't suitable for cars - good for military purposes.

Notice the 1st bar of my fuel indicator, starting is just 50km, then 60km, now the 1st bar hovering on 70km... FC should be getting better.

Driver seat or rear passenger seat? Unless your ass is of 60inch, then I have nothing to say.

Just get City if you like CVT and the seat is designed for your ass, no need to test drive. It's a good car nonetheless.


Honestly get Civic if you want a bigger than Vios car, as City is just smaller on legroom, headroom and width (but not in large margin anyway). Really, no point spending a lot for a car when it doesn't fit your ass in the long run.

Added on November 19, 2007, 3:12 pm500km for how many litres? I'm getting 360km for 26L for fuel in 90% city driving (KL jam area/golden triangle). If you say full tank (40L+) or 50% city, I might surpass 500km .

G(L) - general (luxury)

What kind of bouncy do you mean? Soft like fruit cake and bounce like jelly even on flat road? Or too hard until you can feel road pimples?

The new Vios suspension/damper is definitely more solid then old Vios, and less fruity then MyVi.

They give you rosak damper already is it? So you bounce all the way on the flat road? Go back to your SA and complain.

Or customize/mod your damper/spring.

Vios has much better stock sound system, 'built-in' antena, better cushion vs even Civic ( , reported from a guy own both Civic 1.8 and Vios, what can I say).

Sadly, only your own experience matters. You should have already did some comparison before booking right?

New Vios interior is larger than City,
rear floor is flat,
sharper turning radius,
more viewable front area (hence cannot see the car bonnet, might be bad for certain people),
flipping wing mirror,
newer alarm system,
driver seat height uses jack-like mechanism instead of turning dial.

But...
no more remote trunk open vs old Vios.

Added on November 22, 2007, 4:55 pmThe SA is not entirely wrong either. Manufacture date is important as well - nobody are going to pay you 2008 price if they see your car is 2005 manufactured, eventhough you reg on 2008.

Plus you have to take into account of interest rate and promotion. Nobody knows what the interest rate will be next year, when our Gov screwing up the economy.

I only travel KL around never outstation, but I got no idea how can clock 1600km so fast? It just makes you wanna keep going...

Not yet got chance to go highway yet, will post here when I try at that speed (or more speed ). I'm waiting 2nd service (request full synthetic) then floor pedal kau kau. Silent like nothing at all?! Maybe you get used to the noise already in long stretches of road. Even Benz/Camry are noisy at high speed.



ASL is just having louder volume when going faster. Nothing to do with canceling/damping noises.

Added on November 23, 2007, 10:53 am- exterior, Vios looks much better than Latio.
- 1.6L vs 1.5L - quite obvious who's the winner in FC

Comfort, I think Latio should be better but I don't give that much weigh to comfort, as long as not like LMST or Viva.
