Oh. My situation is like stop the car there, listen 1 or 2 songs, or move few inches in front, for 1hr+ (another 1hr+ for going back). Everyday like that.
Hopes it'll get better later on. QUOTE once in a while must rev the engine de... Yeah. I got rev also. 6krpm This post has been edited by dstl1128: Oct 31 2007, 12:03 PM |

QUOTE about the new vios, technically speaking is only a face-lift model...n i think they are using inferior materials than the previous one. Don't simply think lah. Go and compare physically. If consider as facelift model, from smaller than City interior to bigger, this is one hell of a facelift. |

New Vios got auto sound leveling.. which other car of this class don't have.
QUOTE not really that big ler..only enhance abit nia..door panel plastic..is lao ya than older version Hmm... wider a bit (just few cm I forgot the figure), 10cm more legroom, headroom higher a bit (again few cm), boot more litre. In the end the new Vios cabin is larger than Honda City, but the boot is still 25L short of City's... (Latio headroom is crazy large) Cabin size compare: Vios < City < New Vios < Latio Boot: Vios < New Vios < Latio < City But one thing, I notices the black trim in between the two front & back doors mirror, is actually stickers and not paint! You guys can go and check on the demo car. |

QUOTE I didnt said vios urgly...i said green colour + vios OMG !!! Haha. Usually 'green' color aren't suitable for cars - good for military purposes. Notice the 1st bar of my fuel indicator, starting is just 50km, then 60km, now the 1st bar hovering on 70km... FC should be getting better. |

QUOTE(shift @ Nov 18 2007, 02:40 AM) The legroom is comfortable but the seat (the cushion) feel so small. Its enough to fit the passengers butt Driver seat or rear passenger seat? Unless your ass is of 60inch, then I have nothing to say. but for the long journey i think it will become pain in the ass. Will go again today to Toyata & Honda showroom wanna have a look again. Just get City if you like CVT and the seat is designed for your ass, no need to test drive. It's a good car nonetheless. Honestly get Civic if you want a bigger than Vios car, as City is just smaller on legroom, headroom and width (but not in large margin anyway). Really, no point spending a lot for a car when it doesn't fit your ass in the long run. Added on November 19, 2007, 3:12 pm QUOTE(climacool @ Nov 6 2007, 04:47 PM) 500km for how many litres? I'm getting 360km for 26L for fuel in 90% city driving (KL jam area/golden triangle). If you say full tank (40L+) or 50% city, I might surpass 500km This post has been edited by dstl1128: Nov 19 2007, 03:13 PM |

QUOTE(waif @ Nov 20 2007, 10:03 AM) Anyone know why the new Vios is bouncy when traveling at 135- 140kmph in highway ? What kind of bouncy do you mean? Soft like fruit cake and bounce like jelly even on flat road? Or too hard until you can feel road pimples? Any method available to reduce the bounciness ? (Hope no stupid answer like reducing speed) The new Vios suspension/damper is definitely more solid then old Vios, and less fruity then MyVi. |

QUOTE(firewir3 @ Nov 22 2007, 12:55 PM) Just wanted to ask..is it this car worth to buy?i had booked a S-spec.I went to a lot of forum and website.I can see that a lot of ppl is bashing this car.Any opinion from anyguys here?but i had found 1 site that stated that Vios is much more better than City, Vios has much better stock sound system, 'built-in' antena, better cushion vs even Civic ( http://cars.gidblog.com/2007/10/04/updates...a-vios-part-ii/ Sadly, only your own experience matters. You should have already did some comparison before booking right? |

New Vios interior is larger than City,
rear floor is flat, sharper turning radius, more viewable front area (hence cannot see the car bonnet, might be bad for certain people), flipping wing mirror, newer alarm system, driver seat height uses jack-like mechanism instead of turning dial. But... no more remote trunk open vs old Vios. And it looks like 5-series behind (or Waja): This post has been edited by dstl1128: Nov 22 2007, 03:28 PM |

QUOTE(waif @ Nov 22 2007, 04:16 PM) Is the first photo ur car ? Damn, I thought nobody choose that color, hence I take. The color is similar to mine . I will test the car this weekend again when I go back to my hometown. The car has just been sent to the workshop for the first service ~! Added on November 22, 2007, 4:55 pm QUOTE(firewir3 @ Nov 22 2007, 04:51 PM) Yah,but the SA try to conned me le!he said if i take on january the car still consider 2007 car because production year is 2007. The SA is not entirely wrong either. Manufacture date is important as well - nobody are going to pay you 2008 price if they see your car is 2005 manufactured, eventhough you reg on 2008.He said if i want 2008 car i need to wait until 2008 march! Plus you have to take into account of interest rate and promotion. Nobody knows what the interest rate will be next year, when our Gov screwing up the economy. QUOTE(waif @ Nov 22 2007, 05:09 PM) Bro, U didn't travel much lar. The car is taken in early November only I think. I only travel KL around never outstation, but I got no idea how can clock 1600km so fast? I am running to and fro from KL to Johor then back. The mileage is around 11XXkm already when sending in for servicing. But somehow, still feel very few new Vios on the road ~! I prefer this color compare to Gold. Just loving it more and more everyday. I love the accleration comparing it to Unser and Avanza. Never drive other brand car except for Kancil bcoz need to get the "license to speed". |

QUOTE(waif @ Nov 22 2007, 05:24 PM) Bro, U test ur top speed before ? Not yet got chance to go highway yet, will post here when I try at that speed (or more speed I haven't really test mine. I ran it until 140kmph only bcoz got other family member in car when going back Johor. The wind resistance noise seem very loud at 140kmph. I rode in a Honda Civic the previous generation before the current one. 140- 160 still silent like nothing at all ~! Other than that, I found that the Vios is bouncing on some part of the highway when traveling at 140 kmph. Should I complain to the service centre or just the stupid PLUS highway condition ??? QUOTE I'm shocked you said that the new vios is bouncy when travelling at 140kmph?Is this for real?and the the sound of the wind is loud? i thought there was ASL right? ASL is just having louder volume when going faster. Nothing to do with canceling/damping noises. Added on November 23, 2007, 10:53 am QUOTE(samquah @ Nov 23 2007, 10:46 AM) - exterior, Vios looks much better than Latio. - 1.6L vs 1.5L - quite obvious who's the winner in FC Comfort, I think Latio should be better but I don't give that much weigh to comfort, as long as not like LMST or Viva.
