hi guys, wanna ask is our vios tuned for ron92 fuel?

i've just pumped full tank ron92

using ron92 fuel for few days dy, didn't notice any difference in lost of power, if everything goes well and my vios is tuned for ron91/ ron92 fuel, i will continue to use it happily, , btw, i'm using caltex ron92 petrol with techron.

actually for those of you who wanted to buy J spec vios, i would highly recommend it, you get the same GOA body, 1.5 vvti engine, abs ebd ba, electric power steering, 4 auto-windows, black and grey interior like the S specs, cd player and 4 speakers, and all the important stuffz, the only thing u lose is the electronic mirror, side wings signal, chrome grill,air bags, sport rims..

i took the J spec, the money saved i used it to do tinting, change sport rims of my choice, and i still got plenty money left from the savings, next thing i gonna do is to change the HU, wrap the seats with leathers etc....

think about it.

yeaps, mine have a remote trunk release besides the alarm and car lock button, my colleagues earlier batch of E and G doesn't have it.

J spec sounds like "J"apan specs
E specs = elegant
G spec = gorgeous
S spec = sporty

hehhehe, yeah the vios J manual after discount should be around 66k. very worth it if u ask me.

you know what? i actually bought the vios J together with 2 of my other friends, same batch, 2 of us get auto, one of them get manual. i've driven that friends manual one and its really fuuuuunnnnnn to drive, suddenly switch back to my auto felt very sluggish pulakz, ish...

my vios also can go to 180 just like that lar, when i mean sluggish i mean the auto transmission where u press the accelerator, it take sometimes to respond to it, its not like cvvt transmission where u get the power immediately when u step the pedal, so there is a delay and u won't get this delay when u're driving manual. i drove manual for 6 years, so when i change to auto its kind of sluggish to me ler.

yeah i'm changing soon, the only thing that holds me back is the warranty for electrical parts will be voided

omg, thanks for enlighting us, yes i find is annoying when i slow down on mid/high speed, press the accelerator take ages to speed up again, have to shift one gear down manually.

so fixing a voltage stabilizer will help? i wanted to fix it too cause when idling my car kinda shake quite alot, and when i on aircond i can feel the power of car reduced.

i recommend the subang toyota branch, its super big and they provide very good service from SA and technicians, find a guy name denise if u want to purchase your toyota, very friendly and can give high discount too.

hey guys, any of you tried to change the standard HU in your vios?

I feel like changing it to a double din dvd touch screen player.

My vios J bracket looks like it do not need a custom make one to to fit the double din player, what do you guys think?

vios life cycle is 5 years, it was launched in msia last year OCT , so the facelift should be out 2.5 years counting from there, which means another 1.5 years more from now.

I think its hightime to start a new thread for this. Anyone wants to start it? or perhaps you all want me to do it.

I saw that car too! on Federal highway right? i think he bought over friends vios original rim and fit it on.

Guys, u know where can i get the licence plate chrome bar found on the G and S specs vios? i want to put it on my J spec vios.

and also, do u guys know of any way to improve the look of the dashboard? i can't stand the cheapo plastic material of the dashboard, its killing me, anyway to turn it into "soft-touch-plastic" or maybe polish it to make it look better? urgh...

i don't mind the cheapo plastic if its underneath, i want the dashboard to look better, it is gray color now, if i paint it black (shining black), do u think i will look better?
