i received letter from SC said that they offer me a check for dunno what (i forgot already)

then another letter about their 24seven service... anyone apply for this service?

Waiting for the letter to arrive, becos my car undercarriage got some noise,so that i can do it at one time instead of going two time.

The wind noise...
i told them about this problem..
and they say just change the rubber stuff of the window..
and wont charge as it is just under warranty..
hope this will help..
my gf also feel the wind noise.. and everytime she feel like the door is not close nicely or not tighen enough..
however, the engine noise is also loud. Futhermore, it can't be change, as the engine is near to the dash board.. lolz..

Which SC you went? 1st I complain in Shamelin, couldn't fix the screeching (I think they fix nothing). Then I complain in Cheras, fix already. But I got a feeling it will re-surface again later on. - refer to the belting problem.

Wind noise, I'm not sure 'coz I didn't notice any significant wind noise.

For me is like everyside. I have try to shut the window again as i thought it was not shut.

everyside kua... my side got.. as i am on the driver side.. i feeel it..
and i ask the person who is sitting beside me.. she as well feel it..
i thought making appointment in UMW in pj in the early morning will be fast.. who know it is almost the same as making the appointment in the afternoon.. wait from 8 am till 12 am..
What the heck.. now i am still inside UMW..
hopefully the wind noise problem can be solve...

When you repair liao let us know what is the result. If like this i also fast fast book time go repair

my wind noise on both side....passenger always asked if i open the window..
even myself oso a few times tot i din close window

anyway im goin to get the screeching and wind noise problem done together with the recall problem this coming monday.

mean if can hear the wind sound... they can try to repair watever they can?
my sis vios already put visor... but still can hear the sound

For those that received the letter from SC, when did they get their car? Want to know if the problem is for the old batch or all the batches of the new Vios. Asking cuz i didn't get any letter yet & i got my car in mid march.

i oso feel ever side oso got wind noise..... if anyone can fix it let us know ya...
stupid la... last week i bring my car go SC fix the wind noise and do the steering/ adsober checking....
i ask them izzit fix already the wind noise... they say adjust the the door liao... should be no problem..
after i went back is same only lo.... i think they oso duno how to fix it... haizzz

I went to PJ SS19 to perform my first service the other day. I also made some complaint abt noise at left passenger side when passing through uneven road, wind noise and allignment. After waiting for 6 hrs, the SA told me that the mechanics said that the noise came from underneath ( which i dun agree) and the mechanic pandai x2 go n perform the steering & absorber fix, fyi I didn't receive no letter frm Toyota regarding these. Now I feel that my car has knocking sound when the car is stationary while gear in D position. Also the knocking sound and wind noise tat i complaint earlier were not fixed. Quite dissapoint with their workmanship. If the next visit, they can't even fix any of my problem. I'm gonna write a lenghthy complain letter to their CEO abt their workmanship and professionalism.

I am not sure Toyota mechanic is like proton mechanic becos the way you express they dont really know much of the whole car except some minor default, sorry to say about proton becos i have overcome with my proton perdana, when you complain about more sophisticate problem the mechanic will tell you i just train from proton academy for 3 weeks n train to do certain problem only the rest i learn as i go along, hopefully not the Toyota mechanic.

eh i oso heard the noise when passing thru uneven roads..on the left side..
but when there is sum1 sitting there...the sound is not there...only occur when sum1 sat in it n left. if fr cold start to stop no 1 sat on it..there is simply no sound...

i suspect its the absorber bolt...i hav to c after i get the recall problem fix on monday.
if the problem stil there may b its another defect...

anyway, the old vios oso got this cracking noise when go thru uneven roads...my bro's vios hav tis since he got his car when it was launch yrs ago

i went to taman midah sc... 2day i go back again and ask them order the part.. need wait around 2week...
aiks... waste my time only.... so dispointed
