Better buy whole fruits rather than pulp?

about 2.5kg of pulp

Never bought 10kg yet one fruit. Mostly 1-3 kg. Fruit is like 30% of fruit weight.

Closer to 25%. I weigh the durian that I recently purchased, twice, whole vs fruit

Its depand you know how to choose durian or not! The problem all durian seller are con man! Beside that, if you choose they will not happy! *Expert for durian here!

prefer whole fruits due to hygiene but I not expert

Normally my parents only buy direct from the farms because they know the farms owners, the farm owner will even tell you how the trees taste like.. and recommend which one is good and unique
but now can't travel
