Dunno how it works. Mine not very new sim but not super old either. Mnp to hotlink early last year so exactly 1 year with pantas. Not a very active sim though, i bought 365 validity and let it idle for a year.

Got but its not always available like pantas 365. It'll randomly appear in box of surprise. I think its also rm8 pricier, being rm38/1year.

Pantas more worth it since no need to wait and shit, plus rm10 reload give 30 days validity so if do more work reload rm10 x 3 months then buy the 365 at the 4th month can actually get 15 months for rm30.

Thats how it is with most telco including maxis. The longer validity will take precedence over the shorter one.

My hotlink app now showed maintenance till 3pm. Last night still just error, not even showing anything useful about whats going on.

I wonder if ussd still work to do basic stuff reloading and whatnot.

They stated its a planned maintenance but i doubt it, in a middle of freakin day, on weekend somemore. Their fb page doesn't even showed anything useful about whats going on 🤦

Still down 4h+ after supposedly earlier planned maintenance that should be finished at 3pm. Anyone tried ussd? Lucky I'm not in a rush to do reload or buy plan or something. Guess this is the longest downtime for hotlink app so far. They usually do maintenance every night from 12-3am.

My aunt complained can't even send sms on her hotlink sim.

Its available on pantas too. Mine got offered rm45/30days for 900gb and calls in 3-4 months already.

Originally pantas was designed for very minimal usage with minimal dataplan needed but nowadays the line between pantas plan and unlimited plan has been really blurry. Highspeed plan that usually aren't offered on pantas has been available too. I've been consistently getting the rm45/30 days for 900gb including hotspot and unlimited call offer for 5 months straight now on my pantas sim. Pantas still suitable for minimal usage with the rm2/1gb with 1 year validity for the 1gb. I usually finish my 1gb in 2-3 months since 99% always got wifi.

Anyone got this offer in hotlinkmu? Wording is all over the place, "unlimited" but also 10gb in the bracket. I assume 10gb at 24mbps but after reached the allocation still can surf at snail speed?

Thats the thing of the past because some telco allow autoreload every month via cc or wallet, and some monthly plan also autorenew. Set autoreload and autorenew just 1 time and never need to monitor anything ever again.

I mean, if to mention all shortcomings of hotlink theres too many lol. The app still doesn't allow single ic owner to login multiple sim/account, and the app is still blindingly white despite most apps already got darkmode option nowadays.

But i still stay with hotlink because its the only proper main telco that aren't mvno that still offer 365 validity without much hassle. Digi got 365 but its pricey rm108, the rm38 offfer is from bos that only appear randomly. Tunetalk got 365 but its a mvno. Um never offered 365.

Its still available but not by default. All new sim will be activated on unlimited plan but you can change to pantas plan with 365 validity on the hotlink app by paying rm2.

Many people already complain about hotlink app cannot easily switch between multiple accounts, but my major complaint is the white theme. I opened the app just now to reload after many weeks, forgot how blinding white it was. My poor fcking eyes.. i don't open the app everyday but when i do, its infuriating.

Come on hotlink, its 2025 already both ios and android support dark theme since few years and many third apps already followed by adding dark theme option too.
