Hello guys. Looking for a general use laptop (word, VC, browsing) for my parents to use. Budget around ~RM2.5k.

Is it worth getting a refurbished laptop? The specs of today's midrange/budget laptop should be similar to high end laptops from 3-4 years ago right? Any opinion or other options are welcome
