1. Budget :less than 2k, cheaper the better
2. Usage : microsoft words/powerpoint, media, internet surfing, online classes, no gaming
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : 15.6", decent battery life and screen quality. Want a laptop than can last me for another 5 years or more
