It's okay, just hold bullet (assuming no urgent need, which should be the case la as you're looking at machines with a few months fulfillment time). There will always be something better around the corner (sooner or later).

Hi, I was suggested by my company to get a Huawei D15 i5 11th gen (RM3699 ish), I was wondering with that money could I get a better deal?

1. Budget : RM3.7k ish
2. Usage : Heavy excel works and auditing software etc
3. Requirements: Window 10 Pro/Office if possible and able to smoothly handle multitasking workloads. Need it within this month

Thank you! biggrin.gif

can take a look at Honor Magicbook X15, although specs are a bit low (shouldn't be a problem for your usage)

if u willing to gamble on ship time, Legion 5 Pro with 3060

can take a look at Magicbook Pro 16.1 or Matebook 14 R5-4600H

fine with used laptops? don't think got any decent new model unless sacrifice on specs or build

Honor Magicbook Pro 16.1 ok? Or u have other options in mind

Hello. Comparing MSI Prestige 15 A11SB-449 with Honor Magicbook pro 16 AMD set, which one is better ya? since the price different is just RM200-300.
Thanks.

Sifu need help. What is the best bang for for the buck for laptop.

Budget around 1.5K (not able to stretch more).

Light usage for class & office work.

PS: So far scourging around found out with my budget, it's either celeron or pre ryzen amd. Should I include refurbish laptop into my radar?

Hi guys, I'm thinking of:

1. Budget : 2k to 3k
2. Usage : Office work, social media, watching videos
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : Main requirement is fast and smooth multitasking on office tasks and heavy browser usage. Any display size, battery life and weight is fine. No rush on shipping.

I did some looking and so far thinking of this:
1. Inspiron 15 3000 3515 - RM2699

Would love to know if there are better options. Thank you so much!

just to check which i should go for, dont plan to buy now, so can wait for the good stuff

1. Budget : below 5k

2. Usage : heavy usage on browser like 10+ tab at a time, axure, photoshop, bluestack; occasional gaming (i can bear with mid-graphics but not lags)

3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : slim and lightweight (gonna bring in and out of office, so, below 2kg), prefer to have numpad and good screen for colours, expandable ram and hdd if possible, battery life not really an issue

Is the new Huawei Matebook D14 going at RM2,299 a good deal? Looking for something that can last for simple Microsoft Office use.

Hi

1. Budget : 2.5k preferably (but could max to 2.7k)
2. Usage : Online learning, ms office, social media, youtube, watching videos, non-gaming
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : 8GB RAM and upgradeable RAM.

I am looking for one without soldered RAM but I understand that for this price range, such notebooks are using soldered RAM, unless I buy much older generations of CPU, right?

I was aiming for Ryzen 5 5500U and eyeing LENOVO IDEAPAD 5 82LM006RMJ which uses a soldered RAM of 8GB but I am disappointed that it doesn't have an extra RAM slot for upgrade? So the max possible is 8GB only?

I also noticed that ZM Fong has removed this model from his recommended list.

Are there any notebooks that could meet my requirements?
