Specific use? - daily Microsoft office work, web browsing
Specific brand? - ASUS or Apple
Screen size? - 13 inch , max 14 inch
Weight and portability? - light and long battery life

Previously use ASUS UX331U but having problem, don’t want to spend rm6xx or more to repair. thinking to find a new laptop similar. Thinking of ASUS Zenbook/Expertbook or MacBook Air

I found the INS5430 and INS5630 - a bit different, but I think if I click on "customise" should get approximately the price you mentioned.

Brand: No preference; Something reliable and has good warranty

Decent display quality(not sure if 2K display is ok for 16" screen), good color accuracy as in color gamut those things(due to photo editing purpose)
No lag please, I was so frustrated that the laptop was lagging even just open youtube
Weight doesn't matter
Not too concern on battery life as will always plug in adapter during usage
Planning to get next month.

Note: Even though many people says that Lenovo > ROG, but I had poor user experience on Lenovo(unstable software, screen blackout especially close the lit and open again, always lag etc). Maybe i was the unlucky one to have the bad quality batch?

Curious what's the performance difference between the AMD and intel chip for the Yoga 7 (gen 8)

Someone also recommended Illegear Ionic Touch. Wonder how this would also fair against newer models.

3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) : at least 14" will be good, *requires touch screen*, light weight if possible, good hinge would be good.
