i supply to business/ companies mainly.. they wont take lousy warranty service products.. among the 5 u ask.. all fail warranty service..

if u dun bother tat.. then item 2/3 still ok.. but AI laptop ram cannot upgrade ya

Having use Dell desktop and laptops before and claim warranty, I can say dell's after sales is excellent. tech come on time as promised, replacement part never an issue even in east Malaysia. But once out of warranty, parts super expensive.
Is it all AI laptop ram cannot upgrade or only some? I try look see on website, some specifically mentioned on board ram, some mentioned sodimm ram which I assume still can upgrade?

NPU its like apple M chip.. processor, ram, igpu all on the same die chip.. thus ram CANNOT upgrade

dell laptop/pc.. when u buy.. try to max the warranty.. it is pain to buy parts after warranty end.. i very agree to this part.. sohai dell parts

Hi Folks need recommendation to buy new gaming laptop.

1. Model = Any
2. CPU = Prefer Intel over AMD but will go for AMD if its really good
3. GPU = Prefer Nvidia over AMD but will go for AMD if its really good
4. Screen Size = 16~17" (i dont have any preference for clear 4k graphics in games, more on performance.)

Usage = CPU core intensive games such as HOI4/Cities Skylines. Triple A games (if there are games that intrigues me), RPGs like rdr2/the witchers in Medium settings.

Budgets : no more than 7k.

Extra points = easy to dissemble for diy cleaning or ram/ssd upgrades, small power adapter, easy to source parts (keyboard caps etc), future proof specs(maybe can tahan play 3-4YEARS new game).

Gaming laptop used before : Illegear Z5, TechArmory Commandos Carbine 4, Not into custom laptop anymore since their parts are expensive and hard to source.

Check your laptop spec and buy online N DIY. Very easy. Check youtube if your laptop same model.

Depends on your laptop. Gaming laptop mostly have easy access by unscrewing the bottom cover whereas normal laptop usually has to pry here and there to open the bottom cover.
