Hello guys,

My wife and I are looking for our first home. We managed to view a few houses before lockdown and fell in love with this 1600sqft duplex condo unit. The size is just nice for us to start a family and the price is reasonable too.

We always dream of having a bath tub in our master bedroom. However, the bathroom layout is a bit weird. Just wondering if you guys have any idea if we could move the bathroom appliances, or is it possible to squeeze in a bathtub?

This is the master bathroom:

This is the 2nd upstairs bathroom:

There’s another bathroom downstairs but we plan on making that a dry bathroom for our guests.

Really appreciate the help!

By moving SINK only, will it fit?
Moving sink is easier than rerouting the WC

Since there's wastewater discharge at your shower area (master bedroom's bathroom), this bathtub will be best option for you. Non-permanent installation, which you could move it away of you are bored with it or move to your new house.

Bathtub with stand.

If you can find the correct size tub to fit the bathroom and have walk space, then is no issue. Either bathroom, you need to remove the wc.

I learnt how to use SketchUp a long time ago, and it really was quite easy. I suggest you do the same so you can plan out your bathroom virtually.

There is one important question for you - does the floor below the upstairs bathroom also belong to your unit? If it is, you can hack the floor should you need to move the W.C. to provide enough space for a bathtub.

Good luck. I found more shop. But the size is either too big. There is another brand locally one. but cost RM5k. U can try innove bathtub.

Big bath also got alot choice. But u need to go there and see.

But the size fit my bathroom is the shoppee link i share. Good luck ya. Got alot colour but i took white. Most normal look.

Necroing this thread,

Any heartache cleaning the bathroom floor?
since I see there's a small gap for the water to flow underneath, hopefully no water trap underneath or it will grow something nasty

Its a standing bathtub. What i do is magic clean and bathtub cleaner and scrub once every month. Its a standing bathtub. Maybe my bathroom is small but no issue with it.

My biggest issue is water ponding but i fix it with clog remover RM0.80 i bought from lazada each time. Which nothing to do with bathtub but more to my Apartment piping

May I know how did you join the drain from the tub to the floor trap?

Or just let it flow to the floor itself without any piping?

And is it very heavy? Easy to lift it up when want to do cleaning?

Thanks

Use the flexible drain pipe from tub to floor trap hole.
