I use iSquint for any files that I want to convert to iPod format, such as WMA, AVI and stuff..

I use Handbrake to convert movies that are on DVD direct into ipod format

both programs are free, and handbrake can encode in 5.1 as well laugh.gif

these are my recommendations

First thing first,

make sure the filetype is MP4 (im sure you know this already)

inside itunes get the info on the file and then set to video or movie or whatever

then try and play from movie/tv show section to see if works

download to ipod and try!

laugh.gif hope this help

ok basically right click the file inside itunes and select get info *not sure the exact text for windows cos i use osx* and you can change like the title and artist and other information, flip through the tabs and change it to movie so itunes recognise as movie
